I know i have a friens who is having her 4th child and it was a woops...its hard i know. I am close to honestly giving up though as its just too hard and the meds are costing close to a thousand each month too.

don't you hate when people get pregnant by "accident" and you do everything you can to get pregnant and nothing happens it does make you appreciate the child you have already if i cant get pregnant again im happy with what i have i love my daughter so much it just would be really nice to have another child she tells me all the time she wants a sister or brother to play with and i grew up with sisters and brothers and im so close with them and i want her to experience that

....to make matters worse my sister is 12 weeks pregnant and my brothers gf is around 22 weeks pregnant im definitely jealous i wont deny it I'm happy for them but its so hard not to be jealous

I just went to a bday party for my friends daughter and 4 of my friends threre were prego too. Its just so costly to keep trying. My doc says i have premature aging eggs. Nice right. They are equal to a 43 yr old! I am 37. :( we are so blessed to have a daughter at least. We may adopt thats another option too. I also agree i want her to have siblings too.

Hi Ladies, I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get a sperm count for DH w/o going to an RE. I have been ttc for 5 months with no luck. We have been pregnant twice before so I know we can achieve pregnancy. I have been charting, using opks, and just got cb fertility monitor. My cycle looks great. Reason i want to get DH checked is bc he is now an avid cycler which is a relatively new thing. I wonder if it has affected his sperm. Our insurance does not cover RE's, not even a fertility consult with an RE. If i go to my OB, can they write an Rx for sperm analysis. Or... do i even need an Rx? Thanks for any advice you can offer me

MTJ0907, funny you should mention your husband and his cycling. I'm am in a similar situation. My husband has an eight year old from a previous marriage and we have a 2 and a half year old. We tried for 5 months, got a bfp followed by miscarriage 3 weeks later and since the miscarriage have done 2 natural cycles and 4 clomid IUI cycles. My husband started Ironman Triathlons just before my daughter was born but has become crazier about cycling over the last year and a half. We had his count tested and it was borderline. However at our 4 IUIs they have to wash the sperm so I am always given the counts and they have been as low as 4 million and as high as 12 (so all not so good). I am convinced that it's the cycling. A urologist looked at him and couldn't give an explanation and put him on proxeed . It will take several months for his count to improve from it but it is worth it to try if you can't get your husband in for testing.
