Wanting to Introduce myself.

Postby shansgal » Tue Oct 29, 2013 9:16 am

Hi, I'm a 35yo SAHM. Quit my nursing job 1.5 years ago due to concerns of added stress while TTC. I have a 14yo whom I have homeschooled for the past 7 years. He is a fantastic kid. DH is a 26yo techie. He works two jobs to keep our house running smooth. (one thankfully he does from home) Dh and I have been TTC our #1 (my #2) for just over 2 years now. Tests show I'm ovulating and there is nothing wrong with his sperm. The doctor actually said his was the best counts he has seen in a long time. So we have been referred to an infertility specialist, but our appointment isn't until Dec. 24. At this point we aren't doing anything special. We have always ate pretty healthy, take our vitamins daily, and stay fairly active. We use FertiltyFriend and a ClearBlue Fertility monitor to track ovulation. Most days I'm pretty good about our infertility, but somedays are rough. I think a part of me has come to terms with us not having a baby, but there is a spark of hope still alive.

I have a crib. I have a highchair. I have clothes and toys and diapers. I have lots of room in my heart. I just don't have the baby to fill it.

I'm here to share the hopes, joys, and sadly the disappointment of TTC with others on our journey.

Hello! I am also 35 TTC #2. I have a 15 year old son. My fiance and I decided to start TTC before getting married because I was worried about my age. Turns out I am fine and he has male factor issues, mainly low morphology. It's been about 14 months. We went to an RE over the summer and I am now taking Femara. This is my 3rd month taking it. I'm currently in the TWW. RE wants us to try IUI so I am thinking we will try that in January if no BFP. Good luck and baby dust to you!

Hi! I am new here as well. I have two amazing 7 year old girls... One is my fiances daughter. We've been trying for almost nine months, after an accidental pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage in the beginning of the year. This is the worst because I know I can have a baby but it's just not happening.
