Hi ladies just thought i would update you on my news, found out i was pregnant the other week but kept havin bits of bleedin so thought it was coming away, but went for an early scan today and there was a heartbeat.
Still very worried as i have had two missed miscarrages in the past two years and know how easy it can all go wrong...i sit here with legs crossed.
I am 8 weeks 4 days.
Good luck to all of you and hope this gives you hope that it can happen still.
I will keep you informed of any news good or bad.

That is fantastic I sure understand what you mean when you say about being scared. I am glad that you saw the heartbeat that is fantastic. :jump:

Hi yes it was natural, I live in the UK and clinics wont treat women after 40, unless you go private. (not an option for me)
I took 1 asprin a day and that was it, not sure if it helped.
I see the midwife tomorrow to book in but ive been there before and didnt get past 12 weeks,
Thats the trouble with having had several miscarrages, you lose any piece of mind. Its just stressful all the way.
But we cant give up :lol:

I was reading today that an aspirin a day has shown to help fertility. Never heard that before but it's amazing how much there is to learn about how to get pregnant. I've spent so many years preventing it.

Good luck with the midwife and let's us know how it goes.

Hi ladies went to see the midwife today, went quite well, i told her about my losses and she said she would try to find the babys hearbeat on the doppler,
just to reasure me, well she couldnt find it!! and then quickly backtracked and said its too early!
Does anyone know the earliest a hearbeat can be heard through the tummy?
I am 9weeks 1day.
Least she still booked me in for dating scan so think she still got the faith lol.

Annie42-My OB/GYN only attempted to find the HB at 10wks because I made him; he said 10-11weeks is too early. I'm sure all is fine, hang in there. When is your next u/s?

Hi thanks for the info Julie feel a lot better now, I am booked in for my 12 week scan so will be about 3 weeks time.
Will just take each day as it comes...well try lol

Annie-do they not do weekly u/s for high risk there? When I was pregnant this last time I went in every week beginning at week 6; relieved a lot of my worry...well, until the m/c :cry:

No Julie they only gave me one scan just to check and when every thing looked fine they just booked me in for the usual dating scan.
I would love a weekly scan.
I could go private but the scans are very expensive here. so i wait lol xx
