CD20 here, got 21day bloods to determine if I o'd tomorrow morning (first month on clomid 25mg ) - if I did o I should be due to test/af on the 6th

Pretty nervous about the results tomorrow. I hope it did work, I, as it turns out, don't ovulate by myself. I make the folical but just don't push it out. Not sure I could take more than 25mg at a time.. I have had some pretty shocking side effects so far. No fun.

I'm taking 50mg day 5-9. This is day 6. I already ovulate on my own, so I have unexplained secondary infertility. I'm hoping clomid is the answer.

Chut- I hope you O. I am also surprised that you had bad side effects on such a low dose. Everyone is different though. I had no side effects on my first round of 50mg and on my second I had hot flashes but nothing unbearable.

Tila-I hope Clomid is the answer for you too. I O on my own as well but I just have long cycles....every other month. I conceived my first round unfortunately it ended in a very early miscarriage.

I am letting my body take a break this cycle with no meds. This may in turn do the trick!

I was surprised too! Mind you, I seem to react really poorly to hormones (can't take the pill for that very reason) also - who knows, it could well be all in my head! :P

Oh, is it normal to have get antenatal bloods at the same time as the 21day bloods ?

SMK , did the clomid help to shorten your cycles? I also have long cycles, however my RE didnt want me to use clomid he doesnt think its the right treatment for me, even tho they cant find anything wrong with me, but i talked him into letting me try it for 3 cycles, so he agreed..before this i have been taking vitex for about 8 months which worked wonders for my cyles and pms, but i still did not concieve, so thats what im hoping the clomid will do for me...... :mrgreen:

Good morning ladies! Hope everyone is doing well this morning. CD7 for me, took my last clomid pills last night, and so far no side effects except for a headache this morning. I think I got a headache around the same time last month.
I suppose I will tell a bit about myself since we have Chut and Tila joining us

I came off bcp April 2010 and started trying the same month. It took a few months for AF to regulate, and when I started tracking O i realized my LP was only 11 or 12 days. My OB had already checked my LH and FSH and both were normal. So when I went back in January he decided to start me on clomid. He checked my progesterone first before I started the meds and it was 7. First cycle on clomid 50mg my prog only went up to 8. This past cycle #2 clomid 100mg my prog was up to 14, but still BFN. So I am doing 100mg again this cycle. I'm hopeful since this past month was the first time my body seemed to be acting right!

Tila-Yes the Clomid helped shorten my cycles. Make them more regular. Still not a 28 day cycle but not a 50 day cycle either lol. My cycles have been around 35-37 days. I have been O'ing around day 20-22. Technically, last cycle would have been my normal "off" month so I would have not O'd without the Clomid. This cycle should be my "on" month so I am going un-medicated. We shall see! I hope and believe the Clomid will do the trick for you!

Cycle day 3 for me. Not much else going on. Still debating on wether or not I want to do any kind of O testing this month. I will most likely cave in and head to Walgreens lol! Chat with you all later!

girls!!! Everyone seems like they are on the right track this cycle and I hope for BFP's for EVERYONE...so ALL of you can come join me on the Dec preg boards, it is a little lonely over there and I miss you guys

I just got my labwork back. At 4weeks and one day my beta was 384, and progesterone was 33. Nurse said that was normal for my dates. However, I do have to go back in two days and have it drawn again...not sure how many times they do this...
I will stay on prometrium until my visit at 7weeks with doc. I am totally okay with that...anything to up my chances of having a healthy nine months...you could beat me over the head everyday and I would still accept it..LOL!
So, I am feeling my grandma...I went to bed at 8pm last night and woke up at 5am...geez...it was some of the best sleep ever though
