Jen (waiting) - 20 follicles!!! Yahooo! That is a great start. You have such a good response to Femara too, so I think we will be looking at 4-6 this cycle for you! My RE didn't give pregnancy rates on 1 versus 2, but I did research on my own and transferring 2 gives about an extra 5% boost. Also, another study said that at 33 years of age my chance with 2 embryos is 40%, so with one that would be about 35% chance.

Aleena - your shadowy line is exciting me! I can't wait for tomorrows test! I'm pretty sure that we will transfer one. My RE wants one, although he will do two, and DH wants one, so I think it will be one.

Yep, I agree that this name and thread suits us good!

Talia: Sorry about the :bfn:

Paris Jen: 1 transfer is sure better than none, and definitely better than a useless IUI. I like your odds for next month!!! :D

AFM: I mentioned earlier about my 20 follies. Starting both Femara and Estradiol tonight so I'm anxious to see how this month goes. I'm a little worried of having too many follies though...I'd hate to waste yet another cycle!

Lisa-Congratulations!!! I hope that bleeding meant the baby was digging down super deep.

Paris- Your finally on your way to IVF, thats so great! Sounds like dh was getting just as tired of bfn's as you were.

KUP- I'm SOOOOO jealous right now! I haven't gone on a vacation in a year. I think vacations every 4 months should be mandatory for those that have been ttc longer than 1 year. lol Have fun!

Aleena- Wow we have quite a few people that are looking into IVF! I hope you get your baby before you need it, but if not I'm glad you guys are gonna take the next step.

Waiting- Why does your RE think you don't need injects? Is it just too soon?

Trying- Sorry about the bfn. :( If your ready for IVF then I say go for it. I have been told that when you are ready, you won't question your decision so I hope your RE is on board with the IVF.

Kara- I am very jealous of your break cycle. I would LOVE to take a break right about now. I hope you have a chance to regroup and recharge before "going at it" again. :D lol

Gapeach- Are you on progesterone? I went on it but already had an okay lp and my lp this cycle is at 16 days and counting. If you haven't already, you should try it.

Afm- I stopped progesterone Monday morning and I'm STILL on this stupid cycle. My temps are still up and af is no where to be seen. Oh well, I'm sure she will show when I'm in Tennessee this weekend.
I am so over this next cycle already and I haven't even started yet. lol. I still have the effects of the HSG so I want to take advantage of that and do another IUI, but I also want a break so bad! My puppy is keeping me busy and is temporarily getting my mind off babies. I feel like I have a newborn cause he developed kennel cough last night so I was up with him every singe hour. Poor lil guy :(

Paris Jen - Thanks for starting us the buddy group :) I really like the name! Good choice! :)

Waiting Jen - yaaay for nice antral count! I am so glad they are putting you on Estradiol and Progesterone this cycle! You'll see what a difference the Estradiol maked on your lining! You definitely don't need injects girl with 5 follies on Femara!

Megan - my longest LP on Progesterone has been 18 days and it took at least 3, almost 4 days to get AF after stopping meds. Yuk... It's so cool you're having a good time with your puppy!

Talia - :( Are you goignt ot take a break before IVF or try another treatment option?

Lisa - I'm so so sorry.... I hate that you are going through this rollercoaster almost every month... It's just not fair... And there were definitely lines on your tests yesterday morining...no question about that.. I wish they would figure out what's going on with all those chemicals...
Are you shooting for a nother IUI next cycle?

Rachel (Wannab)- when are you testing? is the trigger gone?

Cassidy (babydust) - I know you're in the "leave me alone I'm relaxing" mode but just curious how you were doing :)

AFM - my temp dropped this morning but probably due to the fact that we slept with the window open and the air in the bedroom was much cooler than usual. I knew my temp would be lower. It's a little too early for a pre AF drop but I know that's coming next... BFN this morning... and I feel pretty AFish so I know it's over... Going to the in-laws tonight and I'm thinking about not taking any tests with me. I don't want to be a basket case the whole weekend... I have a blood test shceduled for Monday. My clinic wants me to have a blood test before starting a new cycle either way so I might just wait until Monday and stop testing.
We've decided to do one more IUI. Last one I swear! I'm thinking about doing just injects but don't want to chance over stimming. The Clomid + Bravelle gave me 4 follies on one cycle on a huge 30mm follie the cycle after that so my response has been inconsistent... I'll talk to RE and see what he thinks...

aleena- the open windows and different climate can totally mess with bbt readings! How many DPO are you right now? You're a few days ahead of me if i recall correctly. Feeling anything today?

megan- are you sure you're not pg??? I know that after stopping progesterone, AF shows within 2-7 days (according to my RE). Ugh the waiting must suck big time for next cycle to show up.

Waiting Jen- I think 20 follies is amazing. But didn't Kara say that that shouldn't interfere with IUI based on what Dr Sher said? Maybe have that tid bit of info handy when you talk to RE. I have borderline AMH, so I never see anything more than 8 total.

Talia- sorry for the bfn. It's still early tho, right? What's your next step?

Kara- good to hear from ya! How r u sweetie?? I am soo intrigue with Dr Sher now. Luckily I live in California, so Vegas isn't too far away from me.

Paris Jen- I'm excited for you for IVF! Glad DH signed consent. I never knew there were many programs you can choose from- that's good to know.

AFM, 7DPIUI. I haven't had time to test out the trigger since IUI. Not feeling anything knew. I've been really tired lately, but been super tired lately- but I think that's mainly because I come into work at 8:30 instead of 9:30 now- so the extra hour is messing with me.. I'm so tired that I feel I need to go in my car and nap during the day- eyes burn! :(

I think I am going to start looking into the IVF programs. We have 3 more..and IDK how this is going to work out, better be prepared than not.

Megan: Any changes today? Sure hope AF didnt find you and that a surprise BFP is lurking in the near future! BUT, if no BFP then I hope your AF hurries up and gets here so you can get moving on to the next cycle. I would definitely do another IUI next cycle and take advantage of having just had the HSG. It was painful enough that you might as well get your use out of it! Have a fun weekend in Tennessee, and hope your pup is doing better!! Oh, and as Aleena mentioned, I ovulate and produce follies on my own so I dont need injects...that would just put me over the top!

Aleena: I'm really excited to see the difference the Estradiol will make. I know yesterday my lining was around 3.5 so I'm really praying it's over 10 for my IUI. Sorry you're testing BFN and feeling AFish. I'm super excited that you're doing IUI. I think it takes several cycles of finding the right combo of meds, follies, sperm count, etc. Hoping next IUI is it for you, of course that's only if AF shows which I hope she doesn't! Enjoy the weekend at the in-laws with NO tests! :)

Rachel: Hmmm, I didnt make the connection between my # of follies and the info from Dr. Sher. I'll have to re-read it to make that connection. Hooray for not testing...you're strong! Hoping when you do test that you have a nice BFP waiting for you! And although it's scary and sad to think of going down the road of IVF, I feel the same way you do that it's better to be armed with info now in order to plan accordingly. Hopefully we dont need to go down that road though! I think we'll do 2 more IUI before seriously considering moving on. Good luck when you test!!!

AFM: Nothing much going on. Just waiting for AF to make her exit, taking my meds, and hoping there's going to be just enough (but not too many) follies for IUI!

Hi Girls! Today has been a crazy day of phone calling to try and get our IVF finance plan in order.

We signed up for the non-refund guarantee with ARC. It was $25k which is 3 fresh and 3 frozen (meds not included). To add the refund policy would be an extra $6k. All test results need to be within 90 days, which would mean DH and I would have to do all of the tests we did with the RE over again to qualify for the refund part. The agent with ARC is requesting our files from my RE to see if she can piece together the health info enough to not have to re-do it. If we qualify we can add the refund part up to the first egg retrieval. I'm not sure if it is worth the extra $6k. I would certainly hope after 6 rounds of IVF that we would be pg!

waiting (Jen) - Have you thought if you will BD or not if they cancel your IUI due to too many eggs?

wanna (Rachel) - I think that it is a good idea to start researching IVF. At least the finance side of things.

aleena - 1 more IUI... I'm shocked  J/K! I hope that your RE is able to find the perfect mix of meds for you!

megan - I'm really surprised that you stopped on Monday and AF still hasn't shown. Maybe you should take a break and go back to BDing? You don't want to stress yourself out too much if you are feeling the pressure.

Hey ladies!

I'm sitting outside right now by the ocean...sooooooo lovely. I've been down here a number of times, but it always amazes me how quickly I fall into Keys mode.

I'll have to catch up on personals tomorrow...time for bed now.

Paris Jen - I think the group name is perfect.

Megan: Hi! No progesterone last cycle since it was a natural cycle. While my RE does that for medicated/IUI cycles as protocol, for me at this point, it would just be a bandaid since he is suspicious there is something else going on. I've actually had a progesterone level check when I wasn't on any meds, and it was normal. Weird, isn't it?

KMP: Have fun!

Paris Jen: So excited for you!

Waiting Jen: Great response to meds!

Aleena: Sorry about BFN :(

Talia: Sorry about BFN :(

Kara: Hope all is well with you!

Hi to anyone I missed!

AFM: Not much new here. Can't wait for RE appt on Tuesday, lots of questions for him.

Paris Jen - Wow girl! you're really moving! I can't belive you got all your peperwork straight already! So what's the plan after AF shows? Will you be able to start meds right away or wait for biopsy results?

Wannab - ok girl you have to test! you're around 9 dpo aren't you???/

Lisa - I just saw your post over at POAS!!! Craziness!!!!!!! I have no idea what's going on but hoping there's a bun baking in the oven! I'll be stalking for your next peestick! nothing can be ever easy can it....

KMP - hope you have tons of fun! did I say I hate you a little bit? :D
I can't wait for summer!!!! We have a town house in Ocean City MD which is about 45 minutes from where we live so in the summer we spend a lot of time at the beach. I love the beach! :) I'm so ready!

Gapeach - hope your RE appt goes well and he comes up with a new "battle plan"

AFM - 11 dpo and my FMU went down the drain :) I did not test!!!! I think this is the first 11 dpo on our TTC journey when I haven't tested. I just can't have a sad face with all the family around. Plus we're going for dinner at some friends so that's one more reason to keep it together.
I had such a strange dream last night! I dreamed it was morning and I was waking up and temping and my temp was so high that the thermometer busted! lol Sure enough my temp was the highest ever this cycle. But I'm not getting my hopes up...I'm just saying... ;)
