Trying to Conceive Forum

Lost my baby boy at 15 weeks last year and had 2 more m/c after that. Just found out today that sil is having a boy. Her twin girls are 3 and she said she wanted another so she told me she was trying. And whadda ya know, one month after she gets her iud removed, she's pregnant. And mil is all on fb talking about how happy she is to have her first grandson. Hurts really bad :cry:

. And to top it off, one of my babies was due in October so I keep getting milk and other baby stuff in the mail. If I wasn't ttc I would surely be drinking my sorrows right about now.........

wow nice to see someone my age TTC#2...

just had my first miscarriage a month ago. checked facebook and 2 friends my age and also called emily just announced they are pregnant with their 2nd babies- what a freaky and upsetting (for me) coincidence! so i totally understand how you feel...

i'm glad we have this place where we can vent together!

its really tough and of course i try to be happy for them and posted my congratulations but now every time i see their updates i think how i'd have been at the end of my first trimester by now, and how in reality i'm back at square 1...

oh well, lets hope the babydust rubs off on us and we can have sticky beans of our own soon!! x

I know how you feel about the updates on fb. I'm not sil's(who is my age btw) friend on fb and I don't want to be. We are really close, almost like real sisters but I don't want to see belly and ultrasound pics. I only check fb about once a week because I have a friend that's pregnant and I don't want to see updates.

And to make matters worst, she knows I've been ttc since last year and every time she comes over or if I'm at her house, she sits around with her shirt up showing and rubbing her 5 month pregnant belly. It just makes me want to cry :cry:

Like you said, hopefully all the baby dust will rub off on us!

does your daughter understand what's going on? mine doesn't really understand as he's only turning 2 in feb, but he asked me to read him 'za za's baby brother' book yesterday and i used to read it to him when i was pregnant with my angel baby...its a book to help little ones understand about siblings arriving.

hmm...lol

FB posts are killing me. My sister AND my bff gave birth last month and posting pics of their babies. Everyone keeps trying to push me to holding my new niece but it just hurts so much and they don't understand

Don't feel too bad abt drinking your sorrows away, I'd do it too if I weren't TTC-ing. I just keep trying to find ways to distract myself, which includes venting and ranting. So vent all you want!
