Possible Ectopic - Question?

I would be almost 7 weeks today but started bleeding last Sunday. My doctor's office assured me at first that bleeding could be normal but I just had a feeling that this was not going to end well.

Last night I ended up at the hospital and was diagnosed with a possible ectopic. Possible because there was an indistinct mass and nothing in the uterus. They decided to treat with methotrexate. I still am not bleeding heavily or cramping that bad. I don't want a second dose for lots of reasons. Partially because I just don't want to have to relive the whole hellish ordeal. I just feel so raw that I don't want to even have my blood drawn again but I know I have to.

Anyone have any experience with methotrexate and how long it takes for things to complete?

I do not have any experience but I just want to say that I am so sorry you are going through this. The process is so very hard. I am waiting for everything to pass as well naturally. (((HUGS)))
