CD 3 today. Doc bumped me up for my last round of Clomid 250mg!!! I was responding to 150mg's for PCOS got PG but had a MC in November. Now, I am no longer responding to 150mg's. We tried 200mg's with IUI and last cycle even did Ovidrel trigger and BFN!!! So, this is my last chance with Clomid!!! Max amount and let's see what happens.

Anybody taken 250mg of Clomid? If so, explain! I could use all the information I can get!!

I am only on 100 MG, but I wanted to tell you good luck!!!

I am on cd2 if you want to be buddies! I am taking the Clomid cd 5-9. This is my fourth round. 1st was a chemical, 2nd live birth, 3rd miscarriage at 7w5d in December. I hoping our pattern keeps up and the next one's a viable pregnancy

Hi there!

I am currently on my 2nd round of Clomid 200mg and wanted to ask you if you had any side effects from the high dosage. Last month I experienced blurry eyesight and nausea. My doctor suggested lowering the dosage to 100mg but I am afraid I might not respond (Last month I got 4 follies x20mm each). Today is CD5 and I started clomid this morning. I think that I will continue with the 200mg. How bad can it be??? What are your thoughts?

OMG yes!! When I got bumped up to 200mg it was way different from the 150mg that I was previously on for 3 cycles. I had horrible nausea and vomiting. I ended up going to the doctor and he prescribed an anti nausea and vomiting drug that did the trick. Funny thing is though this cycle at 250mg I haven't had any nausea or vomiting. Just horrible hot flashes. I feel like someone has set me on fire!!
If you are on 200mg why would your doctor put you back on 100mg? I would assume the 100mg wasn't working for you right? It seems to me that you are responding to 200mg really well.

I must warn you though, my RE indicated to me that blurred vision is not a good side effect and told me that if I every experienced it, I should call him ASAP! Nausea and vomiting are totally normal especially on higher doses.
