4th IUI w/ Follistim

Postby the8yearwait » Wed Jul 04, 2012 6:29 pm

This is my first time really posting anything and maybe it's what I need for luck. The hubs and I have been TTC for the past 8+years. We are more than ready for this to finally work. The first 2 times didn't work and the 3rd time I miscarried after 5 weeks. We are using donor sperm due to my hubs' MS (he's not producing any sperm because of medications).

My 4th IUI is tomorrow and I am both nervous and excited. I had 2 good follies (17.5mm and 15.5mm). Wish me luck!!! And good luck to the rest of you in my same boat!

Thanks you guys. My IUI went very well yesterday but wow am I cramping. I don't think I had cramps like this with the first 3 IUIs. This is going to be a long 2WW. I usually had school as a distraction but with it being summer vacation I will more than likely be on this website thinking I have every early prego symptom ever.

Baby wishes to everyone in my boat!

Good luck to you. My cramps have gone away so I'm happy about that. 3 days down and only 11 to go. Is it sad that I have a shelf full of dollar store pregnancy tests in my bathroom?!?! I think last time I counted there were 25 of them. I can usually make it through the first week without testing but by week number 2 I am testing twice a day!

Today I am feeling a slight pulling sensation in my lower abdomen (never felt that before) and I have some lower back pain. I had this with my last IUI which ended in a chemical pregnancy. 4 days down...10 to go. I'll probably start my testing on day 7...because that's usually all the longer I can wait.
