Cycle of Friends Part 2!

Postby Madasa30 » Tue Jul 24, 2012 8:13 am

I know the title is predictable and boring but I think B must be on her hols or something or she would have thought up something far more creative I am sure!

Simone, Congrats again, I think its so weird that the ICs at home are BFN, I reckon they are a dud batch. Just seen the lady who posted her BFP at 42 yesterday (CJohnson?) said she had to have blood work done cos her test were BFN at first too. Just goes to show.

You should see something at 7 weeks, hopefully a little heartbeat! Take care of yourself and let us know how it all goes.

Oh Simone my love,....what a rollercoaster of a ride for you.... many many Congratulations Mrs... ahhhh, i'm so chuffed to bits for you hun :D

Ooo Tiffany.... exciting times,...go get that eggie girl...LOL

I'm so jealous of you ladies that have your men beside you as you wait for the egg and ovulation times.... i really do struggle in that dept. My mine is baling as we speak and working from dusk till the sun sets at the moment as here in the UK we have some decent weather, so the farmers are going nuts trying to get their hay mown off and baled before the weather turns again!

On Friday i'm having my neice and nephew for the whole afternoon and they're coming to the farm with me to ride my horse and help me do alsorts of chores... They'll love it and go back absolutely shattered!! LOL

Janovich, Bless you it is hard isnt it when the 'important' point in the cycle comes and you arent sure if hubby is going to be around! My DH worked away alot at one point and I used to drive myself mad looking at the calendar trying to work out if he would be here at the crucial time or not or at least 2-3 days before etc,,,,!!!!

I went out with a farmer once so I understand the harvesting time is a crazy one with long exhausting days but as they say make hay while the sun shines! Lets hope OH is around and ready for action for you this cycle.

Thanks ladies!! Ya'll are very sweet!

Well, Ididn't have a smiley face this morning so that makes today O day. I have never not had two days of smiley faces before. This is awful but I am a little pessimistic about this cycle now with the size of the egg and now a short LH. All I can do is hope for a bfp and if not then know it is just not meant to be.

My OB office called yesterday and said, "oh we should have put you on 100mg of Clomid instead of 50mg since that is what worked for your pregnancy". REALLY???? That really upset me, so that news didn't help.

Sorry to be a downer. I will be better tomorrow. I usually only have a 24hour pity party then I get over it :).

Tiiff, you might have picked up the first smiley when it was fairly strong, then 24 later missed it because it was on it's way down. I think I have had a cycle with only one smiley. Don't worry about it, it can happen.

Sorry the doc was an idiot with your clomid. It'll be ok.

Hope youre feeling ok Simone and getting some lines now xx

Lol! We all got here in the end. Yes, B - where are you girl? Yes, I think I got a dud bunch of ic's! Good job they were cheap. Found an old Sainsbury's hpt and it was + so feel reassured now. Also poas on opk and got bold + and that is always a good sign too!

Janovich wrote: Oh Simone my love,....what a rollercoaster of a ride for you.... many many Congratulations Mrs... ahhhh, i'm so chuffed to bits for you hun

I know it really was a rollercoaster. I just know that I had ovulated and to this day I will never know what really happened, whether it was because there was a mixup in the lab or blood was drawn at the wrong time, I just don't know. Anyhoo, all's well that ends well!

Wow, you do have a tough time on your hands when it comes to TTC but you'll get there in the end. Sounds lovely to be in the country riding horses getting all of that fresh air.

Also, take it from me - even though DH is here and when I told him it was "time" to BD he sometimes was not so willing. In fact I am pretty sure that the baby I'm carrying was conceived the time I made him fill the soft cup for me because he was too exhausted and it kept on well, lets; just say, "losing it's firmness!". In the end I just said to him, take half a viagra and here's my soft cup, fill it and call when your done!"

I know that it takes all of the romance out of it, but when you need that sperm, you need that sperm!

That's what we are here for. To be leaned upon. Some people don't realize how important it is for us and when something goes wrong we need an avenue to vent and ask questions.

I hope you get your BFP this cycle and yes, I think they should have started you off at 100mg, but who knows huh? I think Fittblondes story is the best proof of how you can get a BFP au naturele.

That's it you'll get back in the swing of things when you know that egg is making it's debut. Anyway, I say you've earned some droopy spirits. Me? I used to have CD1 as a "me" day. Eat what I wanted, laid on the couch and had some me time. I think it is important to do that (but then again, there are others who cope by cleaning and keeping busy....erm....so not me!)

Righteo - off the cleaning of the house I go. I have decided not to buy deli ham anymore (this is compleeeeeeeetley off topic btw) and I am going to make my own ham! To feed the family with ham (which we love in sandwiches) I have been spending about 10 pounds each time so I have downloaded a recipe and am going to make my own.

Morning Ladies..

Tiff - agree with Madasa,...i guess you may just have missed out seeing a second smiley and it was indeed on it's way out... at least you got 1!!! And Yes,... stoopid docs,... jesus.. couldn't you just give them a mouthful...

TTC#2 - Hi,..CD3 and in the thick of it eh?... at least you're on the right road out of there eh? :) ... and heading into August, your 'lucky' month  ,

Yes TTC can be so draining,..you're not wrong there... although i try to take a rest from it all inbetween AF and O...it's kinda like my 'week off', before things start over again! Ha.

AFM - well i'm waiting to ovulate, i'm on CD6...although i'm a bit tired of the cramps and pains now as i stopped bleeding on Tuesday and here is Thursday and i'm still cramping and twinging a bit.... weird for me, this is usually my 'week off', all quiet down there so to speak before gearing up to ovulation.. I bled 3/4 days early for me on CD27, so looks like my symptoms are all changing this cycle..

Checked my CP yesterday (which i've not regularly done before so thought i might started doing this)...and it was really high,..infact i couldn't touch it!!!.. thought is was supposed to be in a low position right after a period??
(I know pre AF it was low, which i read is normal).

Thank you all for words of encouragement that is one reason why I love this forum! I won't go for my IUI until next cycle (the clinic is closed for 2 weeks for summer vacation) so I will start the treatments probably August 24 (August 22, I should get my next AF ... that is so sad I know the exact day when my NEXT AF should arrive!)

What I want to know is what early pregnancy signs did you experience Simone? As we all over exam every twinge, ache and cramp durring our TWW, it would be nice to actually find out what early pregnancy signs you experienced when you are REALLY pregnant.

Madasa... Ha.. yeah.. would be good wouldn't it!... He's baling like mad at the moment,...Harvesting won't be happening until end of Aug/beg of Sept so it's gonna be a busy couple of month ahead for him... bless.

I'm going through something that's not happened to me before!

OK so AF came 3 days early on cd27 and i bled (assumed it to be a normal period, although lighther than normal).. stopped on Tuesday morning, so shorter than usual. Have been having cramps and pains non stop since and now today..when i go to the bathroom and wipe, the tp is full of ewcm with tinged brownish streaky stuff!??? Never ever had this cm after af before... it's weird.. I've just eaten lunch and have cramping pains after i've eaten (happened yesterday too)...and now i've just had to rush to the bathroom to do a 'number 2' (sorry tmi)...and it was very loose too!...and also accompanied by streaky brownish cm too...

Now, i'm sat here wondering if AF was IB,..but if it was there was more than most women report,...and all this ewcm is my true period trying to come through (as would have been due on normally on tuesday just gone).

These symptoms are really throwing me now. Last month was so quiet symptom wise after ovulation and now at the beginning of what is a new cycle,..i'm going through more cramps, pains and weird cm than ever before....

eh??
