Will doctor perform HSG if my period hass started? Bummed

Hi ladies. After not having a period since May 8, she decided to show up today. It's not heavy at all. Will my RE still do the HSG?

My RE wanted my HSG done between cycle days 5-7 which would have been on the tail end of my period. She said that's becuse the uterine lining would be super thin and not interfere with her observing the uterine walls for obvious issues like polyps and fibroids.
