starting clomid next AF

Hi Ladies,

I just went to RE yesterday and my husband and I found out that we are both perfectly fine. To most, this would be a relief, but it just frustrates me to no end! If we are both fine, then why has it been over a year w/o BFP!? So, we are now starting clomid. I am ovulating now and will start clomid when/if I get my period next. Anyone else in this same boat? I'd love to chat or hear from anyone else who has been in this position! Thanks!

I understand the frustration completely.

Last year, I came off BC at the end of February and the beginning of April found out we were pregnant. Unfortunately, our baby grew wings the beginning of May. The doctor told me since it was so early on in the pregnancy to start trying as soon as I was emotional ready and that for the next few months I'd be more fertile.

Fast forward 15 months......to present day. I haven't seen even the lightest of two pink lines since. Nothing, nadda, zilch. So after a year and a bit, I finally got to an RE last month. I had all the tests and so did DH, but it all came back within normal ranges. Even had an HSG to make sure there wasn't even a small blockage and it came back perfect. It was completely frustrating because it left us with nothing to fix to make my baby dreams come true.

MY RE decided to do an IUI with Clomid this cycle. I just took my first dosage of Clomid last night and waiting for next Thursday to go for another sonogram to check things out and start the next round of meds that my doc wants me on to try and give the IUI the best shot of working.

Hang in there and I'd be more than happy to chat back and forth til we BOTH get our BFP.
