Hi!
Did the doctor suggest having surgery to remove the septum?
I had a septum also. We didn't realize this with my first pregnancy. Thankfully, he implanted lower and was fine.
We have struggled for 5 1/2 years to have our second child. Finally, on our first round of Clomid I got pregnant, but ended up miscarrying when I was 8 weeks. I started having problems at 6 1/2 weeks though. I went to an RE a few months later and he discovered I had a septum. He believes the baby implanted on the septum. There isn't as much blood flow to that area and he feels that's why I miscarried. He advised me to have it removed because it could cause further miscarriages. I did have it removed. It was a pretty easy surgery. I would recommend it just so you know it's no longer there to cause problems.
Sadly, we still haven't had our second child. But we are still trying. I know in my case, if I wouldn't have had the septum removed and then I miscarried again I would always wonder if it was caused by the septum.
Good luck! I hope things turns out well for you!
