Betas seem low?

Postby MsBluEyes » Mon Sep 11, 2017 8:12 am

Hi everyone. I had blood tests done last week at 18 and 20 dpo. I got the results this morning, but I feel like the numbers are a little low.

18 dpo = 272
20 dpo = 616

The did more than double so that is promising. I just worry this one is not going to stick. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My doctor told me that it isn't necessarily the numbers that matter so much as the doubling. I know it's hard not to worry though! Do you have an early ultrasound scheduled?

Thanks for replying. I have an appointment scheduled for 9/25 but I'm not sure they will do an ultrasound then or not. I'm taking oral progesterone 100 mg twice a day. Yesterday I had some light pink spotting but I've read that the progesterone can cause that. Currently 5 weeks and 4 days.

I hope the spotting was from the progesterone and your appointment goes well next Monday. The waiting is so hard!

I spotted in my pregnancy from ~5/6 weeks until ~8 weeks. I was on progesterone too. It could be completely normal!

Thank you. I hope that is the case. I guess because of my MMC in May I'm a bit of a spazz about every little thing this time. Monday can't get here quick enough!

My beta from 17dpo is 47 so I'm totally freaking out. Info for my second tomorrow and I'm praying in doubles. Good luck!
