mglupe- my heart is completely broken for you and your country. I can't imagine what you are going through. My heart is with you and everyone in PR. Thank goodness you still have your meds though. Hopefully there will be a bright light at the end of all that devastation, which will be your bouncy baby. Maybe a break will be a blessing in disguise. I will keep you in my prayers.

Saz- Welcome!!! That definitely looks like a positive!! Congrats! Take it easy and make sure that bean is nice is sticky. :) Can't wait to hear about your journey.

Nickysy- congrats on you transfer!!! I can't wait to hear the good news that comes! I will be praying for a sticky bean!

panda- how are you feeling?

Em- Welcome!!! :) I will keep my fingers crossed for you and will pray for you.

Beth- I have the same concerns. I have the type of personality that likes to be in control so this whole process goes against everything in me. I think it is great you wrote everything down though. Writing can be so helpful and such a cathartic experience and help take some of the edge off. I am praying for you. I hope it all comes as a breeze for you and everything goes off without a hitch.

AFM, I currently have 22 follicles and they all vary in sizes the largest being 19mm right now the smallest being 11mm. I have to take my meds tonight and tomorrow night. I trigger tomorrow night and Sunday is my retrieval!!! I can't believe we are almost there. Even though we are no where near being done, I feel great knowing I am almost done with the stims and am moving forward. I have been on stims for 15 days now and I am ready to be done lol Can't wait to be in the TWW with some of you ladies and hopefully, we can all be pregnant together :)

It went well! There were 5-6 follicles on each side, all around the same size. This is much better than my RE expected so I am happy. I will go back tomorrow for another scan and await my instructions.
The unpredictable timing leading up to egg retrieval is a bit problematic and going for ultrasounds before work. But oh well, good practice for when we hopefully have a child!

Danaa - yes! So exciting, praying for a quick and successful tww for you, fingers and toes crossed.

BB - hope everything went well on Sunday.

Beth - things sound like they are progressing well, you're getting there!

Nicky - how are you feeling? how many days out?

I'm starting not to feel sick 24/7, which is a relief but of course any abatement of pregnancy symptoms sends me into a world of worry. I still don't have my first prenatal appointment booked because my doctor's office is having some trouble with the referrals but they finally found me an OB/GYN accepting new patients so I'm just waiting to hear when the first appointment will be. I really hope it's soon, just want to make sure everything is okay with my little jellybean. Last time I made it to a 12-week scan there was no heartbeat anymore, so I'm terrified.
Me 41, SO 46

IUI #1 - 8/2015 - BFP but miscarried
4 more IUI's in 2016, all BFN

9 eggs frozen
5/2/2017 - 6 eggs made the thaw and all fertilized
5/7/2017 - 1 embryo transferred - BFN
2 frosties remaining

7/22/2017 - natural BFP - chemical
8/21/2017 - another natural BFP :omg:

Hello Ladies! Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts and prayers. My egg retrieval went well! Although the recovery is a bit harder then I imagined. I still am not 100% back to normal. But they retrieved 13 eggs and as of yesterday 7 have fertilized :D My doctor wants to do a FET instead of the fresh. She said I responded well to the meds and she doesn't want me to get OHSS. So I am going in for a follow up October 25th and will go from there to prepare for the transfer. I will find out on Friday how many have made it to freeze.

Danaa- AHHHHH that is so exciting!!! I am hoping you have a nice sticky, healthy bean! I will be praying for you.

Beth-It sounds like things are looking up for you!! I have my fingers crossed for you and I just know things will continue to go well!! :) :)

Its so exciting to hear everyone's updates.

What a wonderful update, BB! Grow embies grow!
Eat salty, high protein foods and drink gatorade for a few days, that will help a ton with the bloating and swelling post-op. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Pandagrl: I am rooting for your lil bean! I am sure lil bub is snuggling in cosy and comfortably. Fxed for a quick scan for you with your new OB. And a beautiful picture with heartbeat that you can take back home. AFM, its 6 days post transfer. Beta is on 19th. Another 9 days to go.

Bbe: So happy to hear your retrieval went well. Lots of fluids for next few days. Get hopping soon. Fxed for all embryos to form perfect blasts by Friday.

AFM, still holding up after FET. Am a little anxious, but trying to keep it down and distract myself with all work. So difficult to pass this tww!
