I think the chances of IVF has become lower at this age. That's a rare case. Most of the people prefer surrogacy at this age. So Keep the option open for yourself. If you are not getting success with IVF then you can also go with surrogacy. There are many clinics in Europe that are providing the best facilities for such services. I hope they would help you in this respect.

Hi. I am 33. Will keep in mind what you said. I do have the option of surrogacy in mind. I am new to the infertile world. And still trying to adapt to the changes. To all the feelings. Trying to stay strong. I don't know how long I can keep doing this. But I hope I don't have to numb my feelings every now and then. And that I will soon find out the right support for myself. I am really looking forward to clinics in Europe. Hope they will help me. Do pray. Good luck to you though.

Hey there! I m glad to see that you are going for assisted conception. It's a great way to conceive a baby if you can't do it naturally. I m also having Surrogacy for my baby so, i can totally understand what you are going through. Just take good care of yourself. Eat healthy things only and do some exercise so you can keep your body active. Stay blessed and Good Luck!

Hey there! Everything will be fine. I m suffering from PCOS, I have recently started my IVF cycle at this clinic abroad. You can make it successful for yourself if you go to a clinic with a high success rate. After 6 years I m in the right place now. Good luck to you too.

I hope IVF works for you. Don't worry I know a lot of people from whom the process has worked. I would just suggest that you visit the right doctor for your process. The more experienced the doctor the better it will be. A friend of mine was telling me that 5 of her IVF cycles failed after which she changed her doctor. The new clinic she visited she made to research about them. It is because of the research that her cycle with them worked. Mainly because doctors exactly know what they were doing. Now she has a little one with her and she is more than happy. She was the one who taught me this important lesson. After which even I switched to them. Now things are going really well, surprisingly. Good luck to you. I hope things go well. Sending baby dust your way.

If you want to increase your chances, you might consult with your doc whether PGS NGS might be an option for you

Have you ever considered mitochondrial donation?? It allows a woman who couldn’t conceive a baby for years to get pregnant and carry a healthy child. The correct work of egg mitochondria, that is their active functionality contributes to the successful conception. Consequently, if there's the issue with this activity, then it is necessary to implant healthy donor mitochondria. The mitochondrial donation program includes three main elements: a donor with normal healthy mitochondria; a mother’s egg cell; father’s sperm cell. Donor mitochondria allow the eggs of the infertile patient to work as it is necessary for successful conception. At the same time, a donor egg cell is not needed. Only mitochondria with high functional activity!! This method is highly effective for 40+ women to become pregnant, who aren't willing to conceive through ivf with donor egg. It is also designated for patients who have faced numerous IVF failures. It is much easier to achieve the desired pregnancy with functionally active mitochondria. If you're considering mitochondrial donation/donor eggs, then, one of the clinics overseas offers different packages (found this on fb):4900 EUR - 1 attempt of donation. 6500 EUR - 1 shot with mitochondrial replacement. 6900 EUR - 2 shots of donation. 9900 EUR - 2 shots with MD. 11900 EUR - 5 shots of donation. 14900 EUR - 5 attempts with MD.

For those considering surrogacy treatment I'd recommend searching a good clinic with high success rates in Europe as it is more affordable and seems more favourable as for surrogacy laws. Be patient as much time is needed for studying all sort of information. Do never be in haste with decisions. So if we look upon surrogacy plan in the UK, we’ll find find out that if you use a surrogate she will be the legal mother of any child she carries! Here’s the disclosure of mother’s rights there: The woman who gives birth is always treated as the mother in UK law. She has the right to keep the child. Even if they’re not genetically related at all. Parenthood can be transferred by parental order or adoption. Surrogacy contracts aren’t enforced by UK law. Even if you’ve a signed deal with your surrogate and have paid for her expenses. It’s illegal to pay a surrogate in the UK (Except for their reasonable expenses.) Yet another point is about father's rights..In Ukraine, for example, the surrogate has no standing to keep the baby or claim any rights. This is true even if egg and sperm donors were used so there were no biological relation between the child and IP. Their names remain on the birth certificate.

@whenmytruerainbow - thanks for sharing. Do you know sites where I can check up clinics that offer surrogacy? I came across sites offering reports on IVF clinics abroad (https://www.whereivf.com/ is very informative), but I cannot find any source comparing overseas clinics that offer surrogacy.
