Period was due Thurs 30 June, but sometime can go day or 2 late. This is day 4! We trying for our 2nd so know symtoms. Been very hot on wkend, hungry all the time, woke up in the middle of night with nausea Friday night, been nauseuos on off, boobs ok, moodswings very bad, very swollen abdomen, struggling to wee and wee more often, very tired!

We have done hpt (clearblue early test) since Thurs, Fri and Sat morning- showed negative! Yday did First response regular hpt again negative!

Is period just very late or possible chance of actually being pregnant?

Ovulated very late 19-21 June, can that be the reason as that make me 13dpo today only!

PS. I do think I'm pregnant but until I see confirmation I'm really trying not to get my hopes up, but very difficult not to run with the idea...

Didnt want to read and run. Just wanted to say that if you're only 13 DPO today then there's always a possibility of being pregnant. You're not out until the :af:

shows up. Fingers crossed for you :fingersx:

Did a test 5min ago just a cheapy strip, still BFN!! 13dpo, 4 days AF late, and feel so irritable with this whole situation. Anybody else had this... or have some advise?

if u ovulated late that can make af seem like its late. our luteal phase, which is from after o till af doesnt usually change. so say your luteal phase is 14 days, u will get af 14 days after u o regardless if u od on day 14 or day 19. it makes it seem like af is late but it really isnt. u just od late. i know its annoying. i hope u get your bfp!

hi dublin, im in the same situation as you, AF is 4/5 days late, but the last test i took was a BFN... i have fx for you, as has been said its not over till the :af:

shows!

I agree with Layla....if you have a 14 day luteal phase, then AF isn't late yet. You Oed late, so you add 14 days (assuming that is the length of your LP) to your O date, and that is the day AF is due. I would guess AF is due tomorrow. Hope she doesn't show!!

16 days late for me and still no bfp. I had a questionable test a few days ago and I am now waiting to testagain. It definatly is annoying not knowing. Quite a few people seem to be having this issue this month. Hopefilly we all get some answers soon.

I'm feeling very nervous/ anxious now... I started to think I had this month in the bag just needed to wait a couple of days test again and bfp will show.

I have had my period for the last 10 months no more than 2 days late (don't know when i ovulated though in past as didn't need to as wasn't ttc), it's day 4 today... what is chances AF will show tomorrow then...

Really worried now...

Very very tired and emotional today. Also abdomen feel very full.

im feeling so anxious... i have had the worst mood swings today than i have had in a long while! and my stomach feels strange, almost like someone is pushing on it... its driving me mad not knowing what is going on as i have had BFNs... so i know how your feeling xxx i have fx for you, x

I'm sorry to hear ur stressed!understandably so!

Back in Jan I had an off cycle. I was convinced I was pg- but af showed up on cd 34 would usually get at cd 30- also had bfns so wasn't chemical or anything. All I can think is that af wasn't actually late but that I od late that cycle. As for the symptoms i think my hormones were playing a joke on me sob!

With dd however, I didnt get a bfp till 2 days after af due (had two neg beforehand) so either I od late again or implanted late!

All I would say is buy the most sensitive test u can find and leave it 2 days if you can to test again as hcg will have def increased by then!

im so confused as to whats going on! as of tomorrow my cycle will be the longest i think i have ever day (CD34 tomorrow am usually27/28) stilll no signs of AF... stomach feels strange, like bloated/full, but got a negative HPT 2 days ago going to test again tomorrow if nothing am going to demand an appointment with my doc

Thanks everyone for your support and advise. Not testing today, might do tomorrow, only have regular hpt left used all sensitive ones, so might even leave it till Friday. Still no sign of AF, day 5 'late' now...

fx for you dublin, im pretty sure im out this month, did another HPT this morning and got a BFN, am so over the 2ww this month, ready for AF so i can get back to trying!

I hope this is your month, if you don’t get a BFP it would be good for you to find ways to manage stress and anxiety since this can be the cause of your delay period. For now no AF yet so you are hopefully pregnant. Best regards.

If I were 5 days late, I'd probably call my midwife for a quantitative beta. But then, my cycles are so predictable, that would be very unusual. Have you tried a couple of different HPT brands? If you still haven't gotten AF in the next few days, it's probably time to call your provider.
