Just a quick note mine from about 17dpo was 2300 and I had a singleton. It was just a very sticky baby. So high numbers don't always mean more than one. I could have been 16dpo or 19dpo but not any further either way so very close to where you are at.

Good luck and Congrats.

The numbers aren't really indicitive of whether you have more than one baby...they can vary so much so i wouldn't worry too much. As long as they are rising that is what is the most important.

I don't know what my numbers where when I was pregnant with my twins, but I know with my 2 singletons...they were really high early on.

Good luck..hope it turns out to be whatever you hope for.

Don't let them freak you out. I had high betas also and turned out to be just one baby.

At 22dpo mine was over 9000. I ended up getting an extra ultrasound out of it just to make sure their weren't two--just one very healthy little girl. :)

Supposedly, there has been a correlation found between high betas and girls, though. Don't know how true that is, but maybe you're having a girl?

That is a high number but not uncommon! :) It is probably one very sticky baby OR maybe it is twins? hehe

At 14 dpo with my son my number was 1632 and my dr said there were two....at 8 weeks my numbers were at 229,000 which is on the very high end of normal...almost not normal. I only had one nice healthy boy in there thank goodness! So you never know! :)

OK, just got back from the Dr's...Basically it was a bit of a screw up!! I'm being seen by the fertility clinic--was referred a while ago by my regular Dr.

My Dr is away, and the Dr. that is covering for him got a copy of the results (they were sent to the fertility clinic as well as the regular Dr this time). So she didn't know the history, saw in my chart that I'd had early losses, and had the nurse call to book me in for follow up IF I DIDN'T HAVE IT PLANNED. This little nugget did NOT get communicated to the nurse. The Dr. says my number is just fine, just have to wait and see if it is rising. Discussed if I was having cramps/bleeding, no cramps just the occasional weird twingy things. Yay! I appreciated that she was trying to be pro-active with me. I guess the fertility clinic isn't sending them much data, lol.

Fingers crossed for beta #2 which will be drawn today. Will probably have results tomorrow.
