Walmart .88/cent Test Sensitivity

Postby OMyStarz » Wed Nov 30, 2011 3:42 pm

They are officially 25mIU/ml!

I had gotten ONE test from my local Walmart a couple of weeks ago and finally used it so I decided to try and find out how sensitive they are.

Here's the website of the company (the product catalog is here):
http://www.innovaconinc.com/products_womens.html

I looked on the foil package the test is in and it says:

HCG Home Pregnancy Test Device
Catalog Number: FHC-102H
Lot: hCGi030998 Exp: 2013/03

So I Decided to look up that catalog number, and here is a snip from the product catalog (mentioned above):

I find it awfully interesting that they also have 10mIU/ml "devices", wonder where we can find them! 8)

Anyway, since I was curious I figured some of you ladies might be too, so I decided to share. :D

Happy peeing everyone! :luck:

I've never seen these @ Walmart. What do they look like? And what state are you in?

Tee, here's a link to a post I started about a month ago that tells more about the tests, including where they are located in Walmart. There's also a link that will tell you if they are available in your local store.

You're most welcome!

FYI, I do remember a girl saying they didn't pick up quite as quickly for her as her FRER, but that would make sense since they're 25mIU/ml, so they may not be the best for super early testing.

I don't believe these tests are available to purchase at 10mIU, but there are 10mIU strips out there on the Internet.

:bump:

I posted this when the Walmart .88 tests were just becoming available and since more ladies are using these now than when I originally posted, I thought maybe it deserved a bump.

I don't think the sensitivity of these is widely known, and I hate to think that women are getting discouraged because of the lower sensitivity.
