Jenn- I'm sorry your bummed :( I wish there was some way for me to find some answers for you :(

I think you are on to something about your ovulation. I do wonder if your body is gearing up to ovulate and never really releases an egg, or the progesterone is too low to make a viable pregnancy? Make sure you do ask your RE that and KUP on what he says.

Some of the things on the list to limit is caffeine, unpasteurized cheeses (feta, brie, real blue cheese) more than one can of tuna a month, and limit your fish intake that could have high levels of Mercury and out of the Gulf of Mexico.

Claudia :hi:

Charley- I figure that the pull you felt was round ligament pain. You should be starting to have it by now and it seems to only get worse, ouch! It scared me the first couple of times I had it happen. The 2nd Trimester flies by because so many exciting things start to happen :) Did you ever decide if you were going to buy a doppler?

Ruby- I was just wondering how you and DH were getting along in the TTC topic.

Ellen- A trip sounds wonderful! I think that if you feel more comfortable with the one doctor even if you have to pay, then that will be the way to go. From what I hear other ladies say about healthcare in the UK is that going private can make a world of difference. KUP on what is going on and which one you decide to go with. GL dear.

AFM- Dragging today. I had dreams all night and didn't get much sleep :( This morning while listening to the baby, I could hear him/her kick at the doppler wand and I could feel it at the same time! Words can't explain

I think that was prob it hun, I am starting to feel lot more pulls this week and twinges in my boobies. Can't wait til I can feel what you can feel, that sounds amazing and bless him/her kicking the doppler.

I don't think I am going to get a doppler...I think it would just worry me too much. I might have a play with my friends but for the rest of the time I will rely on midwife appts.

When does the being able to feel the baby part start? That's the bit I am looking forward to most about the 2nd trimester.

I started feeling little things that I couldn't really figure out what it was for sure around 15 weeks. I would feel a few little flutters or pops one day and then go days without feeling it again. Then around 17ish weeks I started feeling a little something everyday, and now I am feeling stronger flutters and it happens all the time :)

I wasn't going to get a doppler either because I figured I would freak out over every little thing, but when I had that spotting at 16weeks I decided it would help me to relax and so far it has. I can always find the baby in just a few minutes even if he/she keeps moving away from the wand :)

hey ladies, thanks for the link ellen was interesting to read!

fx my internet should be up and running tomorrow so i dont have to rely on getting my mum and dads to get online!

still feeling a little bummed today... seems strange not having bennie plodding around the living room etc, both me and mum keep looking at the dog beds to make sure he is ok then realising he isnt there, gonna take a lot of getting use to! missed my afternoon snuggles with him today!!!
mum said it was strange this morning... for the past 4 years every morning she has come downstairs into the living room to check on him and make sure he was still with us... she said she went into the living room this morning before the other dogs got out of my sisters room and it was so empty :(
i guess in a way im lucky being in my own place i dont feel the emptyness as much as mum... its just when i come back here it hits me... OH was good last night, came in asked if i was ok n gave me a big hug :)

im gonna head home in a min, got work this evening so need to get ready... baby tom has his head sticking out just under my ribs on the right hand side... rather uncomfortable!!! lol

Good morning!

Tara - Yeah, I hate the vivid dreams, too. It makes me feel like I haven't rested much, and then it really doesn't help when you have to go to the bathroom repeatedly during the night. Hope you get some rest tonight. I heard my LOs hiccups last night on the doppler. When I press the wand to my stomach she always come to it, and I could feel them after a few minutes. I got my DH to hold it so he could feel it also, and he was laughing at it. It's harder for me to find her heartbeat now that she's all over the place, and I'll find it for a second and then it disappears. I've found that the best thing I can do is hold it in one place and wait for her to come to it. Usually a minute or so after I start to hear her heartbeat is when she starts kicking it. It's so cool. :D

Charley - I agree, I think it was ligament pain also. It's scary at first when it happens, but it's completely normal and it doesn't hurt the baby at all. I will warn you that for me it has got a lot worse, but hopefully it won't for you. I also have sciatica, but I had sciatic nerve issues before I got pregnant.

Ellen - A trip away does sound wonderful!

Jenn - Those are good questions to ask your RE, and I would hope the progesterone tests would be one that they do anyway. Maybe they can put you on the cream or supplements to help along with the clomid or trigger.

AFM - I'm feeling better than yesterday today, but still not completely well. I think my cold is finally deciding to go away, and it'll be nice to have my sense of smell back.

Yes, it's it great condition and all wood. We will most likely stain or paint it to match the crib when it comes in though

What colour is the crib you have? I have been looking at things today...found a nice set with cotbed, wardrobe and dresser for £499...thought that wasn't too bad.
