Trying to Conceive Forum

So I got these faint "shadow" lines in wondfos like 2 days ago and since I ran out I had not tested. I started spotting last night so I new AF was coming. I got a new order of ICs that I had ordered last week and just took one for the heck of it and I see another line. Came up right away. This is a different batch and different lot #. Idk what is going on. Could I have had a chemical?

Was the spotting red? I just ask because I am thinking maybe it was leftover from implantation? Idk. I have never had IB but I know it is common. When is AF due? I don't think you've had a chemical, but I could be wrong. Keep peeing and I have my fx AF won't show

I had a miscarriage 5/12/12 so idk if AF is here or not. It was pink with ewmc and now a little brighter but not as heavy a I usually get it. I usually have heavy periods for 5-7 days. But this came up right away. And it's from a different batch. Idk what to think

Personally, that line doesn't look "for sure" bfp to me. I wouldn't call it a chemical. But I'd rather believe that I'd never been pregnant than that I'd had a loss unless it was a sure thing, kwim?

I wouldn't call it a chemical either, that line doesn't look BFP to me either.

Hmm, I'm not sure what's going on! I'm sorry this has been a confusing cycle :hugs:

Have you tried an FRER or Answer? If the bleeding doesn't continue like a regular AF, I would test again soon. Good luck!

Yes I tried a FRER last night and got the faintest of lines. But now AF is full force and extremely painful and really heavy with lots of clots (tmi), that I don't usually get. And I got lots of faint lines on ICs that were from different batches and even has DS pee on a cup to see if he would get a line and his were stark white. And my temps have been in the high 98 and today they dropped to low 97

I am sorry you are going through this...sounds about like my cycle this month. I was getting faint BFPs, but they did not seem to get darker and I knew it would be a chemical...and it was. I took another test a few days later (day before AF showed) and got a BFN. I am currently having AF now. Funny thing is it is very very light AF...I think I did not have enough lining for it to attach properly. Again I am so sorry you are going through this...It sucks! TTC can be so hard and confusing sometimes (most of the time). Sending you hugs :hugs:

just wondering if the faint positive could have been leftover hcg from your miscarriage one month ago? had you tested and gotten a negative after the miscarriage? the unusual clots and light positive seems to me there might be a need for a d&c or repeat d&c if you had one. I dont know your exact miscarriage story. I know i had to use some pills to induce my missed miscarriage to avoid a d&c (dangerous for me to have surgery) and i had to test a lot after the miscarriage til i got a good clear bfn to be sure everything came out. I'm really sorry for your loss. Give yourself time to conceive again because your body will know when it is ready. Prayers for you!

I had my levels tested down after my miscarriage. I had a natural miscarriage so I didn't need a d&c. All the test I took showed a faint line. Took one today and the line is so faint it's almost invisible. I took like 6 tests at different times with different tests and all had faint lines. DS were stark white( yes I made him pee on one). This AF is extremely heavy almost as heavy as my miscarriage flow.
