O day July 8th, 1 DPO TWW ALL ABOARD

Postby indiasmommy1 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 8:50 am

Well here we go again....Decided not to temp this month or check CP as last month this did me NO good except obsession. I know that around O last month my BBs were sore and CF was great and OPK positive. O this month, BBs sore, CF EWCM. BD on the 6th and twice on the 7th. Was out of commission yesterday due to cramping from O but will BD tonight after work (just in case). Here's to a successful 2 WW. New methods this month-taking multivitamins and B6 and will start laying with heating pads and taking baby aspirin every day to assist in implantation.....AND I WILL NOT test until 12 DPO (July 20th) and will only test once with FMU and AF due 22nd if she doesnt show then I will test again on the 23rd with FMU using ONLY FRER. I PRAY I PRAY I PRAY!

Are there any other early DPO'ers that care to wait with me? Please tell me your stories or if your already a friend from a previous TTC month.

Hi Ladies... :) ,..i too am going for numero uno in the baby dept!. I'm 44 though, so realise it's a bit of a lottery for me now...

Well judging from my cramps yesterday on and off i'm putting myself as 1DPO today (10 July)... my temp has been up and down ranging from the 36.5 to 36.2 range pre ov,...this morning it was 36.4, so we'll see if it rises in the next couple of days or so to confirm ovulation for me. Had quite an amount of EWCM too on CD9 and then again on CD's 13, 14, and 15. We bd'd on the morning of CD15 and judging by my pains, i hope i ovulated yesterday on CD16, so fingers crossed (it's hard for us as we live some 65 miles apart and see each other on the weekends only)..

One thing that's strangely different this month is that i always get sore boobs usually from a couple of days before ovulation, right through on and off to when AF appears. so far... nothing,...not a twinge... so that's a new one for me! I also usually suffer from back ache and cramping right through too,..but everything's gone very quiet at the moment in the symptoms dept...

I won't be doing anything testing wise until after AF is due on 23 July (i'm on a 30 day cycle and seem to ov around CD16 ish)..

I'm 1 or 2 DPO today - happy to wait with you! Tried a few new things this time - cut back on caffeine and alcohol, started taking B complex, drank red raspberry leaf tea a few times (probably not enough to have an effect though). So we'll see, I know it can take a few months for those things to make a difference. O'd a few days later than usual, not sure if that's the B complex or the fact we went out of town over July 4th.

Challenging myself to do yoga regularly this TWW to try to destress.

Also, welcome aboard waiting with me AZgal and Muffins.

@ Jan-There is always a chance and a miracle no matter what!!!!

@ Muffins-TTC #3 Cycle 9 Had a tube and ovary removed on right side due to a cyctic tumor. DD is 12 years old (off BCP 2 months when BFP) DS is 6 years old (no BCP every used, TTC 5 Cycles with him before BFP). Due to the older age, the one tube, and thyroid issues, I am having severe difficulties now TTC our #3. Hoping for another girl:-) Or any BFP for that matter. I am SURE you can do it. How many cycles have you been trying?

@AZgal good job no caffeine and alcohol. I have had trouble staying away from my sodas but I am not really a drinker so definately not had any alcohol. The B complex is in my multivitamins along with the B6 and B 12 I have been taking this month. As I know I am not EXACTLY sure when O was (didn't temp or OPK on purpose) but it was definately the 8th, I hope due to EWCM, libido, and even if I missed O day I know we BDd plenty though fertile period. I am assuming at the very least 2 DPO with AF due on the 22nd. I wish I knew how to do yoga:-( I could use it. We live in a rural town and there arent any classes and don't want to pay for a video. I suppose I could look up YouTube Yoga lol. Going to start my heating pad and baby aspirins tomorrow as implantation is due to occur anywhere from 3 to 12 DPO so maybe it will help the lining of the uterus? I hear a small glass of grape juice a day is better than the tea.....maybe try some AZ? I will do it with you.

I did check my CP this morning its higher up and on O day I had EWCM for a few days of and a cpl days before O, then CF went creamy. Then yesterday CP was low firm hard closed (after O typical) now I have EWCM again today so I hope I got the O day right and didnt O later although I did have severe lower back pain yesterday too. Wondering hoping its not another cyst or tumor in the one good ovary/tube I have. See my tumor symptoms last october before removed were similar to ALL pregnancy symptoms for over 6 months before I had it removed accompanied by severe back pain during O and AF. EXCEPT my AF was always off scedule early and or late for several months while I had the cyst. If I had another cyst now, I wouldnt be too sure that I do because my cycles have been exactly 29 days on the dot. I hope I get a BFP this month, I just want to cry at some points.

Then there are people who try and CANNOT get preggers no matter what and then there are people having babies left and right with NO problems TTC and even accidents. Its not fair sometimes. But everything happens for a reason...even if we do not know at the time what that reason is.

I want to share a story with my girls TTC on my cycle with me. My mom adopted me when I was 2 days old. She is the sister of my biological mother. In other words, my bio mom is my aunt and my bio aunt is my mom. What a thing to learn at 16 years old. I was an accident and my bio aunt (mom who adopted me and IS my mom forever) has been married and was married TTC for 14 years (she has double female reproductive organs) she would carry and always either M/C or lose the pregnancy. When my bio mom (Aunt) got pregnant with me I was an accident and abortion was not an option. As a gift from GOD she carried me for my mom (my mom was with her every day and every appt even to delivery) and my mom took me and legally adopted me at 2 days old. I was raised in a happy healthy only child environment. Thus knowing that miracles can happen even if not the way we plan them. My mom is my best friend, mom, and bio aunt, what a blessing I have and we are so thankful for everyday. Therefore, I love children and want as many as I can healthily have (one more due to C sections from birthcanal issues).

BFPS for all of US! We want them and we pray for them! Babydust for you all!

indiasmommy,

that is such a touching story! i am glad you posted, because sometimes when i feel down and worried that i won't be able to be a mom...it helps to remember that there are other ways to become a mom without being pregnant, or conceiving "naturally." 2dpo for me too...trying not to read into every symptom/change this time around...last month I was very sad when I got that blaring BFN.

AZgal -- I love the idea of yoga to stay more relaxed, that's so important! I also tried a few new things this cycle...including mucinex, drinking lots of water, staying more relaxed (as relaxed as is possible!) and preseed a few times. Hoping this is our month.

I am also 2dpo and aiming to test around 7/18-7/21. My goal is to wait as long as possible to avoid the BFNs that bring me down. You?

indiasmommy - thanks for sharing your story, it sounds like it all worked out the way it was supposed to. That must have been hard to find out at 16 though. And thanks for the grape juice tip - can't hurt!

Forgot to mention, I also tried the Preseed applicators this month around O time, used it without the applicators before.

Babydust to us all and here's to a relaxed (as much as possible!) and healthy TWW. Maybe some pampering is in order for us also, thinking a mani-pedi sounds good. :)

I think I will go have a pedi this week too! Good idea!

Yes It was hard at 16 but I accepted it well and accept and appreciate it even more so in my older age now.

I think I also will go ahead and try Yoga and deep breathing techniques also to accept positive energy into my body and uterus for implantation-heard it helps....

We are still very early in our TWW and know it only gets harder closer to AF we get and I hope NONE of us get the wicked :af:

Hello Ladies :) DH and I have been TTC for about 6 months now. I'm also on 1dpo/2dpo. 24d cycle, LMP 6-28-12. I suspect that I O'd 7-8-12 or 7-9-12. I'm pretty familiar with my CM by now. (Temped and Opk'd in past months to get the feel for when ovulation would come. Found it to be at CD10 or CD11. After a while it made intercourse feel like a science experiment, so we backed off of it) BD'd on CD8 and CD9. AF is due 7-22-12. I have 4 dollar store tests in my bathroom cabinet, just waiting for some FMU!!!

A little history- DH is 26, I'm 27. Happy, healthy, and TTC. We haven't had any real 'testing' yet, as we were recommended to try for a year or so unassisted. We've had no problem with that!!! :) I haven't been on BC in several years, so there's no 'grace period' for us to suffer through. Normal GYN visits for several years.

May we all find the patience to wait it out, during these 14 days (give or take) of pure madness

Baby Dust and Prayers,
Shan

Welcome Shannon! I am now 3 DPO or so with our BD on 07/06/12 and 2 x on 07/07/2012 into 07/08/2012. With fertile period the 5th through the 9th. We missed O day the 9th due to O pains. So I hope we got our timing in good.

Shannon, since you have a shorter cycle, it may take a few to nail the dates but I am sure you will get a sticky bean! You are young, happy, healthy and heres to you both good luck baby dust!!! I am a POAS addict too but I am not BFN depressing myself this month...so waiting till FMU next Friday the 20th.

Hi ladies,

Question for you. We stopped preventing about 9 months ago. We started really "trying" about 3 months ago (using OPKs, etc). This month something different happened. (note: I use CBED which says FMU is ok for OPK)

Fri 7/6 -- positive OPK am, negative pm
Sat 7/7 -- positive OPK am, couldn't test pm
Sun 7/8 -- positive OPK am, positive OPK pm

Based on the calendar method, I was due to ovulate on 7/8. Based on other signs and the OPK, I think I did O that day. Has this pattern of OPK surges ever happened for anyone else? I'm still trying to learn my cycle better...sure wish I had started paying this much attention a year ago!

I am 2DPO today and this is my first official 2WW!! I love that I have girls to wait with! We've been trying for 7ish months, but I am so irregular there was no way to predict O. I did an OPK this month and started temp charting. I hope this will be the month! If nothing else, I just want to get a better understanding of what on earth my body does over the course of a cycle. I'm already realizing some symptom cues. I'd like to POAS on the 20th, since I will be going to visit my BFF and DH will be hanging with his BFF, but do you think that's too early? I'll probly do it regardless and if it's a BFN I'll just wait a couple days.
