yes please ignore anyone saying you are too old... omg I could slap her... Life begins at 40 so you are just a baby and in biblical times it was very common! congratulations and God Bless!

Seriously, if she was not going to have the baby why would she have posted here.  And if you think she is too old why are you even trolling on the BFP over 40.  Something is serioulsy wrong with you.  Keep your negativity to yourself.

I just turned 40, hubby is almost 41 and we are trying for our 4th and final sweet baby.  Age does not define a happy family and I couldn't be happier for you and your little one to be.  Congratulations!

I'll be 41 in a few months.  DH and I have been trying for a year.  We have five, living children (two are adopted), and one, sweet, angel baby.  I never had trouble getting pg when I was young...thanks for giving me some hope!

How did it happened

Congratulations! I was on here in 2005 and 2007 when I conceived at ages 38 and age 40 using Clomid. I am looking around on the site again, because I love it, and because I think I may have become pregnant again at age 46, using the withdrawal method of contraception. (not much of a method). I will buy a PT tonight.

Age is mind over matter, I don't even believe in menopause, it’s only a mental state…As long as you are producing eggs you can still get pregnant, regardless of what anyone would say, I’ve seen some 46 or even 50 year olds who are healthy active and look even much younger and much healthier than some 30 year olds.
Enjoy your pregnancy, look after you, having a baby at 46 is a blessing to you and your body, you will see your body will renew itself. Make sure to adapt a healthy and active life style and enjoy your next phase of life with your baby  I am so happy for you keep your head up and keep positive, keep us posted on how things will go.

Hi ladies, I just found out that I am pregnant and it happened naturally! About 8 months ago I did a cycle of IVF and it failed miserably. My doctor told me my eggs kinda dissolved the second my husbands sperm was injected. I was totally heart broken. I figured my changes were low at my age but the quality of my eggs seemed so low that I didn't even want to try a second time. So my husband and I decided to count our blessings as I already had a 5 year old child from a previous relationship. We forgot about getting pregnant and went on with life. Then 5 days ago I realized I had not had my period in a while but I thought it was because I was getting close to the dreaded menopause and didn't think much of it. My breasts got sore and I started to feel constipated. My best friend suggested I take a pregnancy test and to my surprise I got two lines! The next day I ran to the doctor just to find that I was 8 weeks pregnant and the baby had a seriously strong heart beat! I left the office on cloud nine skipping to my car.
