Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives
BFN, then BFP!
I'm still in shock as I type this. DH and I have been TTC on and off for 1 year. I am 33, he is 41. I have two kids from a previous marriage. We skipped a couple of months due to a move and job transition, but otherwise I was charting and everything. This month I didn't chart, it was our first month back after moving and I had established that my OD was reliably on CD 13 or 14 every month.
The only thing we did differently was BD more. Some months our timing, although good, was a cutoff of one day or even two days before O. This month we just happened to have a weekend alone, and we did it every day including O day.
I started testing at 9 dpo because that's when I got my BFP my last two pregnancies. I had a BFN 9 DPO, 10 DPO, and 11 DPO (although yesterday at 11 DPO I thought maybe I saw a ghost line, but honestly, it could have been a shadow because there was no color). Today at 12 DPO on a Dollar Tree HPT I definitely saw the faintest of pink lines, so I pulled out my last FRER and used the same urine. Definitely a BFP! Faint, but darker than the Dollar Tree!!
It is definitely hard to tell from symptoms at this point. I had a weird premonition that I was, that I cannot explain, but I had it my last two pregnancies also. Otherwise, if I had not been paying attention I wouldn't have known. From 1-8 dpo nothing was different than usual. At 8 dpo I got slightly tender bbs, but that happens most of the time pre-AF. At 10 dpo in the evening I had some intermittent nausea and thought maybe I was psyching myself out- that it was just something I ate. At 11 dpo the nausea continued intermittently all day. I have continued to have tender bbs but nothing like the screaming painful ones I remember from my last pregnancies. Last night I started to get a little more creamy cm (11 DPO) but again, nothing so out of the ordinary as to raise suspicion. I have a feeling the symptoms will only get stronger (lol) but probably at the same time I would have missed AF or tested + anyway.
Hoping this one sticks! Good luck to everyone!
