Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP After 4 Years and Giving Up

My DH and I have been Ttc for 4 years now. I've had 3 surgeries for ovarian cysts and endometriosis. After months of opks and negative pregnancy tests my dr prescribed clomid. The clomid did what it was supposed to do I just didn't get pregnant. I also had to get my right ovary removed after the clomid because of the huge cyst it produced. So after last month I decided no more opks and no more trying to get pregnant. Too exhausting and emotionally draining. So, on 14 dpo (wasn't keeping track) I vomited in the middle if the night and was nauseous the entire next day. 15 dpo kinda nauseous and bbs hurt like crazy. 16 dpo I realized I hadn't started my period so I decided to buy yet another test. Not even 10 seconds in and the beautiful bold BFP shows up!!! I'm shaking and can't believe it. I took 2 more tests the following days and they are totally BFP instantly. Still in shock and happy!!

Huge congratulations! 4 years is undeniably a long exhausting time for you both but wow you guys must be over joyed as you should be. We have been ttc for nearly 2.5 years. Both tested as "normal" I'm 31 and dh is 33. Such a hard process to keep positive but these things take time. I will pray for a healthy sticky bean for you and keep praying for us too! Congratulations again.

Wow. Yall must be over the moon! Congrats on your BFP! It's been 3 years for us and trying to stay optimistic is a challenge. Happy healthy 9 months

Wow, you make me feel like a beginner at nearly 2 years ttc! Good luck, enjoy your pregnancy to the max, congratulations.

Wow congratulations! This was so beautiful to read! I get so giddy as if it is my BFP lol. DH and I have a DS who is 6. When we got pregnant with him we were NTNP. We have been TTC#2 for 9 months and this is my first month temping. I wish I would have done this in the beginning. I am now on CD 38 of a 31-32 day cycle and FF has yet to confirm O. There is no temp shift. We will keep at it :)

Congratulations!!God is Great!!!

Thanks for. Sharing beautiful story, enjoy your pregnancy!

So you stopped trying and then got pregnant? Why do you think??

What a wonderful day for you! I can imagine how exhausting your ttc journey has been, but hopefully in nine months you will forget all about the hard times... Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

Congratulations! What a tumultuous journey those 4yrs have been I'm sure. Such a wonderful story and I wish you all the best in your pregnancy and beyond.

Congratulations to you! God is great! I wish you a happy, healthy pregnancy and child birth.

Congratulations dear how awesome is that.Hi ladies , been ttc for 3 years and 8 months . Had a lap, Clomid cycles etc etc.nothing stuck. had an iui 2 weeks ago. The two week wait was horrible. I had every pregnancy symptom i was so optimistic that it would finally be my turn to have a Bfp. I was strong I didn't do a hpt the entire time. I had my beta today 15 days post iui. an at 1 the nurse called and said sorry it was a negative. I had an emotional rollercoaster a few weeks back so i thot that if I heard negative it wud brig me to tears. Im surprisingly ok haven't shed a tear. I'm looking forward to a break from the meds that have made me gain so much weight. On to ivf for me next year when I have the money. The almighty knows best why this is happening. Hopefully one day hubby and I can have our bundle of joy. Good luck to all of us. This process has been life changing.

Thanks so much for posting this! It gets hard to go through the forums sometimes when you've been trying so long. My hubby and I have a 9yo DS and have been trying for 4 years also...unexplained infertility. *bleh* Congrats!!! H&H 9 months!
