Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP after 7 months of trying!

We have been trying to conceive for 7 months and I am so happy to say that we are finally expecting our baby! I had the Mirena IUD for almost 5 years and had it removed in August of 17'. Each month we would use OPK's and BD at all the appropriate times but nothing was happening. We were also using preseed except the month we conceived! I was charting using Ovia and with this I realized that my LP is only 11 days which is on the shorter end of normal. I was feeling a lot of anxiety about it and was worrying that there was something else wrong. In Dec I met with my OB for a yearly physical and she said to let her know if a few months if nothing happened yet and she would start with some blood tests. She wasn't too concerned with my LP length. My husband was starting to take steps as well to make sure it wasn't something on his end. In Feb he met with a dr that specializes in male reproduction and had blood work and a SA. Everything came back good! This was a huge relief. His Dr recommended Fertilaid for both of us so we started taking this as well. About a week later we met again with my OB to discuss further testing for me. She ran a bunch of blood work and wanted to get me scheduled for an HSG and Follicle US. All my blood work came back great! I felt like all of stress was melting away! The day I scheduled my HSG is when I found out I was pregnant! I was 9DPO, no unusual symptoms other than some spotting which was implantation bleeding. I am now 4 weeks 2 days and praying that this is a sticky little bean! I've been having seriel HCG's drawn and my #'s have been increasing nicely! I know it can be discouraging and how much anxiety can go with this process. I really think that by getting ourselves tested early on helped ease my anxiety about it all and helped us to conceive.

Awwwhh congratulations! Its awful isn't it?? knowing you so desperately want something and dont get it. we've had the same problem, but for 2 years we have been actively trying now, and still nothing !... i had my very first consultation with my gyno on thursday afternoon, i'm not gonna lie i got myself in such a pickle :( sweating and fidgeting... he was a lovely man though, asked me a lot of question about my younger days when i very first got my period?, how my period works, what my first child birth was like etc... then i mentioned to him that i had a scan done on my ovaries 2 years ago, just to check that i was indeed ovulating and that the nurse's face changed and i knew she had seen something, and another nurse come in an said shes just gotta look etc, and then measure what they have found, but not to worry as it probably isn't anything to worry about, a week later i was seen again by another nurse for a more indepth scan, they explained that they couldn't find anything wrong and didn't understand what thee others had seen, tbh they shown me and i could see myself there was something there, so... they let me go with the hope of everything had gone on its own and i was back to normal??... obviously on thursday that wasn't the case for me!, he explained that there was no evidence on the system that i even had a second scan and to say there was nothing at all in my ovaries, so he did a internal examination, took some swabs from my lady bits, then also felt my cervix, said all feels healthy and nice ( awkward moment ) so he then said to me that he was gonna feel around my ovary area with hes other hand (outside) lol... so he pressed down on my right side of my ovary and i winced, he said it hurts doesn't it? ( erm yeah, kind of a lot ) so he then went to the left side and i felt nothing, no pressure or pain, just nothing... so he went back to my right and again i winced :( he asked me to explain what it felt like... ( it feel like its a brick wall, hard and it hurts ) he explained to me that he wants me to get some blood work done, on day 21 of this cycle, and day 2 of my next, and then hes sending me for a HSG test!, im not gonna lie, i'm absolutely pooping myself, i think its because im so frustrated because its been 2 years and this could of been done and i could of had a baby now, but instead me and my fiancee have been saying ( maybe its not meant to be??... lil'ys 12 soon, were getting our life back?? ) ANYHOW... I had a feeling that something wasn't right, because i can feel something on my right side where my ovaries are, but obviously because the EXPERTS said there is nothing, you believe them right?? NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!, i'm gonna go with my gut instinct from now on! :( i feel so angry ! im glad you got your happily ever after ! :) fingers crossed its a sticky bean! and all the best lovely xxx

Staying active is a must for most moms to be. Regular exercise will help you control your weight. Improve circulation. Boost your mood. And help you sleep better. Plus, getting into an exercise habit now will help you set a good example for your child after she's born. Pilates, yoga, swimming, and walking are all great activities for most pregnant women. But be sure to check with your doctor first before starting any exercise program. Aim for 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week. Listen to your body, though, and don't overdo it. Congratulations for the pregnancy. Since it is your first time you should constantly be seeing your doctor. For any symptoms that might seem odd you should also see your doctor. All the best dear.

Hi all, Hubby and I intended to start family planning next month but figured a little practice start couldn’t hurt. Ovulation roughly 4th or 5th of April. Expect period April 20th. First time ever feeling these symptoms as I usually only get abdominal cramps and slight back ache with AF. These have been my symptoms post ovulation day: Day 1: nothing Day 2: nothing Day 3: tingling tugging sensation lower right abdomen Day 4: sore back, same tugging sensation on/off Day 5: All I wanted to do was fall asleep anywhere and everywhere (unlike me). Sleeping early and waking to vivid dreams Day 6: vivid scary terrorizing dreams. And also some fun sexual dreams Day 7: Bloating, loose stools (I’m usually constipated), very sad and gloomy feeling. Mood swings Day 8: bloating and no appetite. Mad mood swings followed by happy go lucky feelings ! Day 9: Smelled eggs from a yard and turned my stomach Day 10: Figured, i’ll test and see. BFN. Day 11: nausea. Dreams have stopped. Itchy left breast Day 12: Itchy left breast and slight tenderness. Bloated yet hungry. As soon as I eat I feel as though an elephant has landed in my stomach Day 13: Will I try another test?? I’m going on vacation in 2 days and want to enjoy a margarita for finishing my Masters courses but have this strong intuitive feeling... I’ve never had a pregnancy scare nor any similar symptoms. Any suggestions?
