Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP after 9 months with longer irregular cycles

I'm 27 and DH is 31. We began TTC at the start of 2016. When I was 17 a pelvic ultrasound showed that my ovaries were enlarged and polycystic and I have many symptoms of PCOS. This is probably why my cycles are irregular. The very first cycle we tried I had EVERY pregnancy symptom in the book but got BFN on 2 occasions and then got a heavy AF with bad cramping. Since then, I tried to control my symptom spotting and not make too much of it.

In August 2016 after a number of cycles and no BFP I made a few changes. I did a free online fertility accupressure class and used what I learned for a few weeks. I also tried my best to avoid high GI foods. Large quantities of sugar and flour had been normal for me up till then. I got a positive OPK on CD 23 and BD on that day and the next day. I was actually sick with the flu at the time.

I noticed a bit of heartburn (not normal for me), a few odd mild cramps and bowel issues. Nothing really obvious. Almost no CM, but I usually have very little. Then I tested with FMU on a easy@Home IC on CD 33 (about 9 DPO) and there was my BFP! But it was really light. Took 2 more easy@Home tests over the next few days. The second test was darker than the first. The third was about the same as the second although a few days had passed and I agonized over why it wasn't darker, but I need not have worried. I am now almost 9 weeks and I've had an ultrasound and heard the heartbeat SubhanAllah.

NB. I have been using PreSeed since February.
