Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives
Bfp after two years of ttc!
Hello lovely ladies! I've been following everyone's stories since we started ttc two years ago. Finally my turn has come to share my good news. Well I am 33 years and hubby is 36. I get my menses regularly and my average cycle is 26 days.I even feel ovulation pain so I know when I ovulate. So it was really disappointing when af arrived each month. After 6 months of ttc, we went to gynaec and had all tests done. No problem with any of us. Gynaec prescribed clomid 50 mg days 2-6 for 3 cycles. Still nothing. I switched gynaec and this one told me to get hsg done. Everything was clear and I even managed to fall pregnant that same cycle. Unfortunately I miscarried at 6 weeks. We were devastated but we didn't give up. We started ttc soon after that. The second cycle after the miscarriage I went to another lady gynaec who prescribed who prescribed clomid 50 mg days 2 - 6 with proper monitoring on specific days. We found that the follicle was not growing accordingly so I took gonal f injections on day 7, 9 and 10 followed by ovitrelle injection on day 12. I was then told to take utrogestan 100 mg tablets two times a day for 14 days starting fromm 1 dpo. Unfortunately that cycle also was a bust. The next cycle we did the same except that I didn't need to do gonal f injections as one follicle was already 17 mm on day 7! Ovitrelle injection was done on day 10. That cycle we bd day 9 and 11. Hubby was too tired to bd on days 12 and 13. So I thought here goes another cycle as I wasn't sure we'd managed to catch the egg. Still I started taking utrogestan tablets 200 mg after ovulation.soon after I started having really thick white discharge everyday which freaked me! However this was also one of the first hints that I may get a bfp this month. Secondly I did not get headaches as I usually do before af.so I tested on 16 dpo and was so happy to get my bfp. Just hoping and praying that this one sticks. Good luck to all of you ttc and just be patient.God wil definitely hear your prayers!
