Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives
BFP naturally after 5 years TTC and laparoscopy
Hello all. I really never thought i will get to post my story but I want to give you hope! If it happened with me, it will happen to you. I am turning 40 in two weeks, have a 10 year old son and was diagnosed with unexplained infertility 5 years ago. Back then we even did 2 rounds of IUI and I took Clomid for 3 months. I absolutely hated the process and what the drugs did to my body. We also traveled a lot of work and eventually moved abroad so I decided that I will no longer continue wit the treatments and will just hope and pray for the best. Fast forward two years, we are back in the States and I decide to go to a doctor once again for another comprehensive evaluation. I was fortunate to meet someone thoughtful and experienced who immediately recommended a lap surgery for potential endo. In his opinion, if there is nothing else that they can find, the next logical step is to see if endometriosis might be the culprit. And it was. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 endo, an ovarian cyst and a tubal cyst as well as uterine adhesions. The surgery took place in January, and here I am in March starting at two red lines. I did not even think that it was possible this month as we did not bd on the Peak days according to my CB fertility monitor, just on the High day. I already took 7 tests and they are all positive. Going in for a blood work this morning. For those ladies who were diagnosed with unexplained infertility, do not loose hope. It is a very frustrating diagnosis and unfortunately many doctors push you towards expensive fertility treatments. If you are unexplained, insist on doing Laparoscopy before reverting to any additional treatments. It helped countless other women and it certainly helped me.
