Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP on Break Cycle with Endometriosis

During the last year, these stories really gave me the encouragement to keep going, so I wanted to post mine and hopefully help someone else.

DH and I started TTC in Aug 04. We started charting in Dec. 04. I have a family history of endo and I had many symptoms of endo. I found a great OBGYN who took my symptoms seriously and believed me when I told him I was in pain. He offered in March to do a lap but I still wanted to wait (I was in my first year of teaching high school, my life was really stressful, and thought a relaxing summer break would do the trick). In September I had an hsg. One tube was open, one was delayed, and because things just didn't "look right" according to my dr, I had a CT that day as well, which still didn't look right. On Oct. 24, I finally had my lap. My dr. found stage 2 endo and was able to remove it all. My left ovary was completely covered in endo, my right ovary had spots, there was scar tissue all over my uterus, but my tubes were clear. He gave us the go ahead to start TTCing again right away. The first month I think we bd'd more than the last 4 years of our marriage combined!!! No BFP.

The second month we just did it to do it (I had finals to write, DH was working overtime, life was busy). I tested on New Year's Eve (I just wanted to see if I could drink or not) and got a BFP. I tested three more times on New Year's Day (didn't believe the first test) and still got BFP's. There's hope!

I wish you all the best of luck and I hope to read your success stories soon!
