Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives
Few symptoms, implantation dip, standard BFP 11DPO
This is my second cycle TTC and my first month charting BBT (not digitally, just in a little notebook). I got a standard BFP at 11dpo evening with a 2.5 hour hold. The list below includes temp by day right before and after ovulation, and my symptoms by DPO. I'm excited about my BFP, but cautious considering the 15% miscarriage chance for women under 35. Please send me sticky baby dust! I didn't have sore boobs, or extreme nausea, or any of the stereotypical pregnancy symptoms. The only major, recurring indicators I had were unusual pelvic cramps, an uneasy feeling in my stomach, and an "implantation dip" at 9DPO. CD14: Temp 97.3. Negative OPK. BD'ed with Astroglide TTC lubricant. CD15: Temp unknown (forgot to temp). Light line on OPK in morning. Stronger OPK in afternoon. Positive OPK in evening. Watery CM. No visible EWCM. BD'ed with Astroglide TTC lubricant. CD16: Temp 97.2. Light line on OPK in morning. Watery CM. BD'ed with Astroglide TTC lubricant. CD17: Temp 97.3. Negative OPK. I assume I ovulated on this day but waited until temps confirmed. BD'ed with Astroglide TTC lubricant. CD18 (1 DPO): Temp 97.7. Glue-like/sticky CM that was present when wiping. No symptoms. BD'ed with Astroglide TTC lubricant. CD19 (2 DPO): Temp 97.7. A little creamy CM. No symptoms. BD'ed with Astroglide TTC lubricant. CD20 (3 DPO): Temp 98.0. A little creamy CM. No symptoms. CD21 (4 DPO): Temp 97.8. A little creamy CM. No symptoms. CD22 (5 DPO): Temp 98.0. Cramping like ovulation on both sides. A little lightheaded. An "uneasy" feeling in stomach (not nausea, but a nervous feeling). A bit of heartburn. CD23 (6 DPO): Temp unknown (forgot to temp due to some drinks the night before...drink til it's pink). CM is a bit like EWCM (shiny on toilet paper when I wipe). More cramping, a bit stronger "pulling," still near ovaries. Uneasy feeling and light heartburn continues. Skin is very oily and breaking out. Felt cold and hot intermittently. CD24 (7 DPO): Temp unknown (forgot to temp). Creamy CM visible in underwear. Pulling cramps continue. Uneasy feeling and light heartburn continue. Skin is very oily. Felt cold and hot intermittently. I bent over to put food in my cat's bowl, and when I stood back up, I had a serious cramp in my pelvis near my left ovary. I had to bend over again and let the cramp subside before standing up again. This was the first moment that I felt I might be pregnant. CD25 (8 DPO): Temp 98.3. More creamy CM. Pulling cramps strengthen. Uneasy feeling and light heartburn continue. Felt cold and hot intermittently. CD26 (9 DPO): Temp 97.6. I guessed this may be the mythical "implantation dip," but could only hope until later temps. More creamy CM. Pulling cramps strengthen. Uneasy feeling and light heartburn continue. Pregnancy test is BFN. CD27 (10DPO): Temp 98.0. More creamy CM. Pelvic cramps continue. Uneasy feeling and light heartburn continue. Emotional (snapping at coworkers). Noticed slightly heightened sense of smell. CD28 (11DPO, today): Temp 98.1. AF due tomorrow. More creamy CM. Pelvic cramps continue. Uneasy feeling and light heartburn continue. Emotional. I now experience the strong cramp in my pelvic region when I laugh, or bend backwards, or go pee, or have a bowel movement, or do pretty much anything. The cramps are not painful, but they are present. I am having AF symptoms like backache and hips aching, so I was convinced I was out this month. I told DH I was having AF symptoms and was sad about it. Made a big dinner and decided to have a beer with it. I had a few sips, and then thought it would be a good idea to test to be sure I wasn't pregnant. I took an "early" internet cheapie test (10miU), left the room for about three minutes, then came back and saw a standard positive (top pregnancy test in picture). I repeated a cheapie test and then took a FRER. All three were positive within three minutes. DH seems quite stunned, shocked, and is pretty much in denial, HA! DH and I BD'ed every day from CD12 until my second day of temp rise (CD19). We did NOT use the brand "Preseed," but we did use the Astroglide TTC lubricant. It was great stuff (DH wants to use it when we're not TTC). I used half a tube internally 15 minutes before BD, and then used the rest on him before BD. I have been taking prenatals for four months (Vitamin Code RAW Prenatal 3/day, Baby n Me Herb Free 2/day, Wiley's Finest Peak EPA fish oil 1 pill 2x a week, Wiley's Finest prenatal DHA 1 pill 5x a week). I hope this story helps someone and gives them hope...sticky baby dust to all.
