Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

Is this real?! 8 months and finally a BFP!

We have been trying for 8 months now and this Sunday we finally got our BFP! We both just stopped worrying and knew that if it was going to happen it was going to happen no matter what we did. I ended up ovulating 5-7 days before I normally do. My husband and I are both teachers and lucky for us I ovulated during our spring break! We had plenty of free time to BD! I have only known that I am pregnant for about 2 days. I don't really have any symptoms yet. My chest is a little sore and more cm than usual, but I am still feeling great. I am about 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant right now. I go to the doctor tomorrow to confirm everything. I am still in shock and we are so excited about this pregnancy! I used First Response and the line was their immediately. It showed up even before the control line had a chance to show up. I took two just in case :) I am so ready for this adventure! For everyone out their trying just keep your heads up and know that your time will come!

Congrats! however, as a teacher, it worries me that you not once, but twice, used the incorrect form of "there"...

Thanks... but as I was typing I was very excited and did not read through it. I noticed the mistakes after I sent it and if you didn't know you can't edit the post... Here I will put it again.

I do know how to use the correct form of there... but that wasn't really my concern when typing this. What worries me is how rude people can be in such a happy time. I truly hope you are perfect and never make any mistakes. You also need to capitalize the first letter of your sentence... Thanks!

To the first person to comment you are a B! Who cares!!! I guess all teachers need to make sure they have perfect grammar. How do you know what they even teach? What if they are an art teacher or math teacher. IDIOT! Also, have you ever heard of being extremely tired during the first few weeks of pregnancy and then combined with the excitement... Get a life JERK!

I really wish I could just delete the post... I am a music teacher, but I do know how to use there, their, and they're. I do know I will no longer use this site. I haven't found it very helpful and was simply posting my story to try and encourage others to keep their heads up. It was difficult for me after trying for 8 months and I was just hoping to give someone else some hope... what a mistake that was. I honestly feel sorry for you that you have to go around finding fault with people you don't even know. My hope for you is that you try to have more compassion towards other and keep your mouth shut unless it is necessary.

Congrats on your bfp!! I mostly use my phone, too and I find it weird how it changes the oddest words to even odder words....that aren't even actually words! Don't let them get to you.

You're pregnant after 8 months of trying, WHO CARES WHAT ANYONE SAYS ABOUT YOUR GRAMMAR!?!?! haha.  I think that person just had a dry sense of humour but what they were saying definitely came out as "rude" instead of funny!

Congrats on your BFP my dear! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and wish you nothing but the best :)

Congrats sweetie!! I'm so happy for you. DH and I have been trying for a long time too. I feel like it's going to happen soon, so hopefully I'm having the same intuition as you!

Don't let anyone slam you down, especially online. It's happened to me (I think to everyone at some point). There's always someone that's got to say something before thinking about whether it's appropriate or not. Not to mention autocorrect is a big reason for misspellings and improper grammar, so a few errors here and there should be widely accepted online for what they are.

I agree with above poster that it was dry humor, not meant to be hurtful. Usually ladies on these sites are supportive and kind, which is why I think it was a joking comment, taken the wrong way (understandably).

Have a happy and healthy 9 months, and many days of joy every day after!
