Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives
Positive Test - Dr Confirmed!
Hello! I am thrilled to add my tww symptoms! Here's my story last two months:
Been TTC two months. Last month – I had weird cramps, lots of random breast pain, and felt exhausted for no reason at all! Even though I didn't think we'd timed it right, I thought I must be pregnant since the "symptoms" were so strong. Absolutely no lines. I POAS about 10 times (I couldn't help it!) and absolutely nothing, no lines at all, not even a shadow of a line. Here are my "symptoms" for my BFP now:
4 Days Prior to Ovulation – BD
3 Days Prior to Ovulation – BD
Ovulation day – felt O pain, had EWCM for about an hour at work, (10am) then it went away. I felt so horrible all day because I thought we wouldn't have a chance now since we wouldn't be able to BD till next day (DH was working nights that week).
1 DPO – BD early in day – and later in day
2 DPO – BD
3 DPO – BD
1 DPO through 8 DPO – Nothing weird at all, no cramps, no extra discharge (CM was same as last month, not a lot, but creamy, like lotion, I only check externally). I didn't feel any different, so I assumed I wasn't pregnant, felt bad because we'd have to wait another month.
9 DPO – Had major bout of intestinal cramping, like stomach flu – NOT like AF cramping. Lasted about 5 hours, coming in waves.
10 DPO – took Pregnancy test out of curiosity, wondering about stomach flu, wondering if it was safe to have a drink that night. It was 10pm, I'd held pee for a while, but I saw the faintest of faint marks. It was a blue dye test, and It was more like a shadow than a line, but I could see it without squinting. I dismissed it as negative after reading about how the blue dye tests are notorious for readings like that, even though I'd never seen any line like it before.
11 DPO – nothing
12 DPO – took another test, curiosity, at 10am at work – very faint line, but definitely there! I went straight to store at lunchtime, bought a three pack digital tests, and tried again an hour later, Pregnant!
13 DPO – another test, just to be sure. Called DR. Managed to get an appointment for next day
14 DPO – saw Dr., line barely registered on their test (looked cheap, weird looking, they only put a couple of drops of pee on it) the line was just enough that the nurse told me she could see it. I think she passed it around to the other nurses outside the door while I was waiting for the Dr., to see if they saw it too. My Dr. told me she could see the line, and believed I was pregnant, but she had a blood test drawn to make sure. They called me at 5:15 tonight to tell me I am indeed pregnant! I did ask my Dr. about the intestinal cramping and stuff, she told me not to worry about it, probably gastroenteritis (or something like that, I don't remember exactly what she said!) I saw light brown spotting with a small brown clump about two hours later, felt very scared at first, but I know that spotting is normal, I'm guessing implantation bleed, late since it's brown, I'm a little nervous, but praying everything is OK! Hang in there ladies, I know the wait is hard.

Congratulations! I too am in
Congratulations! I too am in the TWW and driving myself insane but to put your mind at ease my pregnancy with my first child sounds alot like what you described the spotting that is. I had just POAS that day and got the BFP and had rather alot of brown blood that night enough so to cause me to go to the hospital but rest assured it was just baby rooting down. She's 13 now! Congrats again! :)
Congrats!!!
Congratulations on the new addition to your family! Thanks for posting your BD timeline. This is our 6 month TTC. I am 3DPO, and fearful I missed the boat this month. I got a +OPK Tuesday at 7PM but didn't BD until Wed 7PM after OPK went back -. We also BD -5 & -4. I know...horrible timing. But I have read that O happens 12-36 hours after +, and then eggie can live 12-24 hours. I am inspired by other stories on this website.
thanks
Thank you! This is my second pregnancy, and it doesn't get any easier, the waiting, the worrying. I was really scared about the little clots, but Dr. checked my hCG again (4 days later) and everything looks to be increasing like it should. :-) Hang in there, and thanks for the positive words, makes me feel better!
THanks
I can't imagine whether we concived before O, or after O, but I sure thought I missed the window this time. Hang in there, it is so worth it in the end. :-)
