I am 28 years old. My
husband and I have been married since May 21, 2004
and we could not be happier. After 2 years of
fertility treatments, we are parents. Our little
boy was born on November 25, 2008. He is the love
of our lives and we could not be happier! Our
lives are complete now! :o) He is the best baby
ever!
We are finally parents!
Our story:
Cycle started on February 26 to begin a chemical
pregnancy. We were sad and devastated, but we were
happy because we knew that we COULD get pregnant.
We began Gonal-F (FSH injections) on February
29th. We continued injections until March 9th. We
did a HSG Injection to make me ovulate on March
12th when we had our IUI (the IUI helped us get
pregnant last time). We were officially in the
2WW. On 12DPO I decided to take a Dollar Store
test and it was POSITIVE at NIGHT! We took another
on 13DPO with FMU and another positive. On 14DPO
we went for blood work and my numbers were 195! We
had been hoping for above 50 and 195 was great. We
then scheduled the next blood work for 16DPO. Two
days passed extremely slow. On 16DPO my blood test
numbers, which we were hoping for around 300,
were.....508! We are officially pregnant! WooHoo!
We are excited! Well, just to UPDATE - We had
another HCG test today - 26DPO and it was 25,161!
WooHoo! This little bean is VERY sticky and is
here to stay! WooHoooooooooo!
Update - September 23,
2009 - We are going to start TTC baby number 2
very soon. We go back to the fertility doctor on
September 29 (Tuesday). Once we go to that
appointment, we will know more about when
everything will begin. We are very excited!
Anderson will be a big brother! :o)
Update - January 21,
2010 we got a big, huge surprise! I tested and
low-and-behold....BFP! We are pregnant with no
fertility help this time! My beta levels are
rising nicely with a final draw on Friday (Jan.
29th). We have an EDD of October 1, 2010! We are
so completely thrilled! Cannot wait until our
first ultrasound (TBA). Best wishes everyone!!!
Update - November 29,
2010 - I am completely behind in updating! So, our
little miracle baby number 2 turned out to be a
girl! She was born on September 16, 2010 at 7lbs.
4ozs. Her name is Annabelle Nichole. We are so in
love! She is nursing like a champ and was already
10pds 11ozs at her two month appointment. Big
brother turned two on Thanksgiving Day. He is
still the sweetest little boy ever. He loves his
little sister very much is always gives her hugs
and kisses. So cute! Our family is complete! Life
could not get any better! :o)
