ABOUT ME

I am 33 years old. I am married to a wonderful man and we're about to celebrate our 5th year of marriage in October. We got pregnant in September 2006 and were not even trying. 2 days after we found out and had told everyone of our happiness, we sufferred a miscarriage (Oct. 31, 2006). I had already bought 80 dollars worth of pregancy books, picked out names, I mean we were loving life. Those 48 hours meant more to me than anything in the world, to know someone was growing inside me and that it was from the love of my husband. Boy, we had only been off BCP for a month! Any old way, we have been unable to get pregnant again (ofcourse! now that we are trying!!)and we have no idea what is going on. It is so frustrating and I am CERTAIN I am not alone in those feelings! I praise God for this site and the women and men here. I used to feel sorry for myself until I came here. I see now that I am not alone, I could always have it worse, and that faith is the answer, at least for me. I love talking to everyone and I can't wait to meet you! We have 2 fur babies, our police K9's Rhand and Maggie. The precious thing I am holding in my profile pic is my best friend's daughter! She is gorgeous and I would die for ten just like her!

05/20/2008 22:59:31 Yeah, I've had some pretty tough lessons learned while on Metformin! lol You might want to try setting an alarm clock for the time you wake up most often. Temps can change dramatically as the morning goes on, so it's important to take them regularly. I had to set my clock for 6:30 because I usually wake up between 6 - 6:30 (whether I want to or not!). I think I got my + OPK this morning. I couldn't quite tell if it was a match or slightly off, but that's ok. I'll keep testing for the next couple of days to be sure! Have a good one. P.S. 05/20/2008 01:59:24 Hi there! Thanks for your comments on my page! I like South Beach. I've lost 30 pounds on it so far. I have been eating pretty badly this last month though, so I really need to get disciplined again and get back to it. Thankfully, I haven't gained any weight back, which is probably the Metformin helping out. I heard Metformin would help me lose weight too. I don't think it does any drastic tricks, but I do think it helps a little bit (maybe 'cause if you eat wrong, you get so sick! lol) So...I'm just sitting around waiting for a clear sign of ovulation No + opk's yet, so I'm waiting to see what my temps do, because I think I o'd last night! Well, good luck to you! At least you have a fresh cycle to work with, huh?
