♥ My wifey and I are TTC thru IUI and we had our first one May 5. (read below) With the help of Clomid, Follistim and Ovidrel we hope to become mommies very soon. I'd like to have a BFP (a sticky bean!) by the end of this summer! And with the grace of God I feel like it's *going* to happen! ♥ She works at a special school district working with autistic children and her second job is working individually with an autistic little boy. I went to college for Medical Assisting but right now I work as a dispatcher for emergency roadside. We've been together over 2 years and we're ready for a precious baby to add to our lives. We are both extremely excited!
I got my first BFP ever on May 19, after doing my first IUI on May 5, 2008...which technically ended after much confusion and many questions. The doctors knew I miscarried but didn't know why my numbers were rising after seeing the pregnancy absorb in my uterus. (they thought) Come to find out, I had an ectopic pregnancy. I had a laparoscopy with left partial salpingectomy (OUCH) on June 20, 2008 and am still recovering. I am here for anyone who needs support if this happened to them, as well as support for myself! I had absolutely no symptoms of a miscarriage/ectopic! No pain, no spotting...so how was I supposed to know? I was almost 9 weeks along before they figured it out, still with no pain. ANYWAY! We plan to try again hopefully in September. The wait is going to suck, but I believe good things come to those who wait! ;) We hope to God we are blessed this next time!!

I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks to be sure the baby implanted in the uterus.  In late January I had surgery to remove my first angel baby.  She/he implanted in my left fallopian tube - I was two months along.

If this one had been in the wrong spot they would have had to have medical intervention early on to lower the risk to me.

Are you still showing much (even if it is not all baby - to me that is showing b/c any h20 retentin etc. is due to the pregnancy).

Hi there!  Thanks for your encouragement.  Yes, we did switch donors this month actually, so we're hoping that'll make a difference eventually.  How's the belly?  Any m/s symptoms? (Hope not!)

You're so sweet to check in (especially since you have such awesome news yourself!!)  I'm doing great - I'm 5 dpo and just keeping busy and positive.  We'll see.  I can test next Friday or Saturday, so I should have some news by then.  ***STICKY VIBES TO YOU!!***
