| ABOUT ME |
I'm a graphic designer from Melbourne, Australia.
My husband is a Yank, we've been together since
1998, we're two Simpsons fans who met on the net
in 1996. We're now lucky enough to work together,
which is surprisingly fun! (I thought we'd get
sick of each other *lol*)
We've been living in Melbourne since our wedding
in 2002. We planned on moving to the US after our
first child here, but recently we decided to move
anyway due to the ideal financial climate. We're
still in Melbourne but will be heading to Denver
CO in late 08/early 09 to be near my husband's
family.
We're still trying for our first - 11 frustrating
months so far! In the mean time we are practising
our parenting skills on our three cats we love
dearly, Gracie, Ty and Basil (And if you think
cats are nothing like babies, you're welcome to
come and clean up any of the various piles of puke
that invariably show up on our carpet).
He was recently diagnosed with Asperger's so we're
aware of the possible Aspie/Autism risks. I
wouldn't "cure" him even if I could - it's what
gives him all his wonderful quirks (I now know all
there is to know about tornadoes and maps :)
I'm also overweight with a BMI of about 34. I've
lost about 8kg (16lbs) since March 2008 (Lite 'n'
Easy) so I'm hoping that will help things happen
sooner and avoid possible complications during
pregnancy.
