| ABOUT ME |
I'm Amanda, and Simon is my husband. We have been
married since June of 2008. We are a
blended family. I have two, ages 12
and 14.
He also has two, ages 15
and 17.
We knew before we were married that we wanted more
kids. I had my tubes tied ten years ago, so we
knew it would be a task.I had tubal reversal
surgery October of 2008 and have been TTC ever
since.
Our first BFP came in Feb of 08, it resulted in
our first miscarriage. Since then, we have had
three more. October and November of 09, and
another one in February of 11.
We first met with a Dr. Jan 9th that specializes
in recurrent miscarriages. The plan was to start
testing on day 3 of the next period.Ooops, got
pregnant! After the miscarriage of that one, Af
showed Feb 20, and on day 3 I finally got the
blood work to see what the problem is.
March 22..CD 3 bloodwork 21 vials of blood taken
March 24th-28th..cd 5-9..clomid challange test and
schedule HSG.
March 29th..CD 10 bloodwork
April 13..all my results came back good, Dr.
doesnt see any problems with me. However, DH came
back positive for DNA Fragmentation, a condition
known to cause miscarriages. Next step is to see a
urologist to see if we can fix it.
