My husband has not been deployed since the Gulf War, and I thank God for that daily!!  I work full time as a family assistance specialist for the National Guard, and I know full well the struggles of the military family!  My husband only has a few years before he can retire with his 20 (at the ripe old age of 42! - gotta love it!) so I am keeping my fingers crossed that he makes it out before he is up for deployment.  The unit he recently transferred out of just found out they will be deploying soon, so I was soooo thankful he was moved without having to go to Iraq!

 We have a lot of military wives here!  My DH is full time National Guard.  What branch is yours in?
