ABOUT ME
I am 35 and DH is 40. I have three step children who I love and we are trying for one of our own. We have been married for 4 years. TTC for 2 years with no luck.I have done Clomid 6x and IUI x3. We are going to an RE and I am doing acupunture. I am on my first IVF cycle. Had my ER. They retrieved 13, 11 fertilized. There are 8 that were frozen. Im waiting for a frozen embryo transfer in June because of OHSS.***** Update 6/19/08*** Had frozen egg trf. 2 embryos were transfered and now in TWW!****UPDATE****BFP on HPT on 6/26/08. Beta on 6/28/08 =)*** Beta 216 on 9dp5dt!***Update*** 7/15/08 ultrasound showed singleton pregnancy with a strong heartbeat!

Thanks I feel 100% today.  The day of trigger my E2 went to 4,019 so they gave be albunin through my IV at ER.  I have been drinking 2 protein shakes a day and drinking protein water and V8.  I haven't gained weight but if I get OHSS they are going to freeze and do FET next month.   I feel 200% and I have no bloating, no weight gain so I am hoping they can do the fresh transfer on day 5 Wednesday...  Thanks for responding back

Hey girl.. Just had egg retrieval yesterday.  What kind of symptoms did you have the day after.  I have this weird feeling in  my uterus lke I have a full badder but only when I walk.  I just want to know if it is from the ER or a sign of OHSS.  I am at risk for OHSS due to a high E2 level day of trigger.  I'm freaking out.ve the

After hearing your story It gives me hope with my IVF.  My  ER is around the 24.  After hearing your story I think I'll put two in instead of 1.  (I think) ;0)

Well my very first IUI worked but it was ectopic so techincally IUI worked great for me except my tube was the problem apparently. The only way my RE wants me to move to IVF is if my upcoming HSG shows my only tube is blocked. How come it was 40k?? I know for sure my ins won't cover it but my RE told me they charge like $7,000 and then it's a little more than $2,000 on meds, but he said bout $10,000 total. Which I would somehow take a loan out for. Thanks for the web addy, I will have to check it out

I just wanted to tell you congrats! So your first IVF worked?? I might have to move on to IVF if my tube is blocked (I had an ectopic and surgery to remove it and only one good tube) I am like you were in the beginning and have NO clue what to expect with IVF, no knowledge of it at all (I haven't done research yet, I'm hoping I don't have to do it and can stick with IUI) Do you know of any good sites I can visit? Well congrats again!!!!
