My name's Vanessa. I'm 38 and am married to my Mr
Wonderful who I met online in Nov 2001. We fell in
love and I left London, England to be with him in
Canada, on Jan 26th 2002. We were married exactly
10 months to the day later. We currently live in
AB, with our 4 furbabies Tilly, Cora, Galley and
Jade. We were not sure about expanding our family
with non-fur babies until late 2005, when I heard
my biologcal clock chiming louder than Big Ben!
Been trying off and on since then although most
recently we found out that we are dealing with
unexplained coupled with mild MFI. The fertility
doctor stated the only way we would conceive is
via Clomid+IUI. We are not ready to take this
route, so for the time being we are using vitamins
to jumpstart hubby's boys ;) along with lots of
prayer from me! So for now, we are on a break,
although not preventing ;)
We have since moved to a new city and have decided
to try yet again (we never prevented in the first
place) I am getting concerned as time passes
especially since I'll be 39 in a few months) I so
want a baby and am not sure whether this will
happen for us. Still clinging to hope and faith
and there are days where I am missing those two
components as I continue to walk on this journey.
It is the hardest thing I have ever endured,
wantign something that doesn't come easy
andwatching as it happens to everyone else,
especially those irl. Oh well. One day I hope!
Thankfully I have recently acquired a pt job which
takes my mind of the focus of all things ttc so
for this I am thankful!
