Title: RE 2nd and 3rd opinion long sorry

Blog Entry: Good morning !! Today is my cd 10 bloodwork and scan from my reg RE. Im hoping all goes well. I saw 2 other re this week to see second and third opinions. One didnt even bother looking at my bloods and any records or procedures i gave the frotn dest women. I cant even say that he didnt have a chance to look them over because i was in the waiting room for him for 45 min and no one else was in there being examined or in the waiting room either. He asked me questions that if he would have looked over my bloodwork he would have gotten the answers. So i wasnt too thrilled with him. The second RE comes very highly recommended. I waited for about half hr to see him but he went over my records completly before seeing me. When dh and i saw him he asked me certian questions that he didnt have answers to about history but (theres always a but) when i asked him how he would treat my condition he said he would most likely take me off meds and have us try natural for 3-4 months, then take it from there. He said u may loose out on a couple of cycles but well start u off fresh. NO i dont want to start off at point A again. I DONT ovulate on my own. He said that he would take me off metformin and clomid for a month. see if it works without the two meds. If it doesnt he would putme on just metfromin for 2 months, if that doesnt work then hell put me on clomid and metformin. but to try timed intercourse for these inital months and then move to iui... I know whats a few months to some, but to me its an eternity. The re im currently seeing put me on metformin (i was on clomid before from my reg ob) and upped my dosage on clomid. First month we already did IUI's and of course dh and i bd just in case. I know logic answer is to stay with the dr im seeing now, but ive gone searching the internet for answers and some women post wonderful things about him but others post that they would not go there becausse it seems like they drag their feet.  Im thinking i should stick with my RE (this is my second cycle with him) and give it a few months. Dh liked the re that wanted me to try natural bc he comes higly recommended. BUT i DONT want to loose out on months... what would u do? i dont want to go to this new dr in 5 months and start all over again from scratch.... So as far as today it is my cd 10 scan and bloodwork. I hope it works out this month...  give u updates when i come back...!!!
