I've been off the pill for over 3 yrs, not preventing but not trying either. Actively TTC #1 since Sept/06. Finally referred to a doctor in July/07 who finally diagnosed me with early stages of PCOS. (my only symptom is no periods) Started taking Metformin, was still not ovulating - the doctor added Clomid in October. We have not told ANY family/friends we are TTC as we dont want the many questions associated with it .... In Dec, we were referred to an RE, tried Clomid + IUI there, nothing. Moved onto injectable medications. Nothing. Finally our magic combo was Clomid + Gonal-F + Ovidril trigger + IUI After a very long road -- WE ARE FINALLY PREGNANT with TWINS!! - never lose hope and never give up! We are cautiously happy, and hope these little ones hang in there!
