So great to hear from you!!! We're doing fine. The funny thing about the grant I try to put it out of mind and try to keep my options open, try to tell myself we wouldn't have a chance because I just don't want to be disappointed. Therefore, last Monday I receive an email from fertile dreams informing us out of 80 apps. They narrowed it down to 13 couples and we were one of those 13 couples. Great news I know, but they don't have funding for all of us. So, I would imagine they would finalize it to 3 couples. We’re just keeping our fingers crossed….I feel like we’re so close.

Anyhow, are you doing alright with all the testing???

So we finally got our results back and he came back positive.  Which we thought would happen.  Now our next step is to meet with our doctor for an ivf consult.  then a few wks after that we're scheduled to have an appt with the ivf nurse.  how are things going for you guys?

We know what we have to do which is going to be IVF, but we have to wait for a blood test result 1st to see if my husband is a carrier of cf - like I am.  Then we're hoping insurance will pay for part of it.  But we're still waiting - 6 wks later.  This is the part that drives me crazy!

thanks for the update. I'm happy to hear your healthy....one less thing to worry about. My husband and I are waiting to hear back on a grant we applied for to help with the expenses with IVF. We took out a loan for our last IVF, so we need help. Regardless I really would like to start again this fall. We're going to use an egg donor & acupuncture (which will increase my chances). We hear back on the grant in the next few weeks, keep your fingers crossed!! Talk with you soon.

what is the male facotr about?  is it workable?  i wish you the best of luck.  we've been waiting on blood test results for 5 wks now.  we should have more answers as of the 9th - it cannot get here soon enough.  lol
