rain, a clean house, time with good friends, just outta the dryer towels, cuddling with my husband, days off from work, spending time with my parents, dancing when I know no one is looking, strip-tease aerobics (it's so fun), cooking, decorating, traveling

I like to do a little work outside, in the garden but my main hobby right now is decorating the interior, I love to read...and trying to get pregnant...

Anything really, but my all-time favorite artist is John Mayer. His music really touches my soul and fits any mood...

My name is Andrea. I work as a x-ray tech at a local hospital. I pretty much love my job but it has its stresses. My DH Andy and I have been married since Dec.'06. I love being his wife, we have so much fun together, it's sickening! We have two fur daughters, Maggie and Mischa who are boxer mix puppies. We decided that it was time to try to become parents recently and so far, it's been a fun but frightful experience for the both of us.He got just as upset as I did when it was a BFN the last four times. I'm the oldest of five children so I was always around pregnancy and babies. I was born to be a mommy... We've been TTC since February 2008. I tried to chart for the first month but I felt like it wasn't working for me so we are pretty much just going with the flow, reading what my body is doing. Most of our family knows we are trying. It was something we wanted to keep private but it was too exciting to hold it in. I hope to make some friends along the path of this journey. I love reading everyone's personal stories because I find so much courage in them. I think that's the best influence when you are going through a "process" like this one. It's also great to know that I am not the only POAS addict!

Okay…so I think I have some very useful information for all of us confused newbies! I kept finding on different sites to check out Toni Weschler’s “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” 10th edition. So I finally decided to go and buy it yesterday and man, should’ve done that a looong time ago! I couldn’t put it down and was up reading until 2am!!! It was incredible!!! Answered seriously probably EVERY question I’ve seen posted here!! This is the only thing I’ve read thus far that’s calmed me down about this whole journey and actually given me confidence about getting pregnant!! I HIGHLY recommend you go and pick it up if you haven’t already. I had no problem finding it at my local Border’s bookstore and it was WELL worth the $20. I had previously been doing all my research online and piecing together bits and pieces to educate myself. Big mistake because literally, this book handles the whole thing. Charting, CM…all of it (including colored pictures believe it or not). Sooo….I know a lot of us have expressed being totally confused and some of us are already worried there could be an issue….this book put all that to rest for me and I really think everyone should check it out!! You’ll feel a lot better, trust me!

I'm hoping everything goes well; I'll also be trying that preseed stuff too...so I dunno. You're about to be in the 2ww again though, huh?? Lots of babydust for you and keep me posted!!!

Holy cow, we are on similar schedules! I've got my fingers crossed for both of us and regardless of outcome....we'll get through it together. How's the sis in-law?? Mine's alright..had to visit with her on the 4th, but that's about it. It's difficult to smile...but I do anyways. Maybe July will be our lucky MONTH!!! Keep me posted!!!!

Where are you in Texas?? I have lived from end to end.. grew up in Wichita Falls, moved to McKinney in 2004, and then to H-town in 2006.   How long have you been a tech? What's your specialty? I was wondering because I dont know if you are like me and wonder if all the years of fluoro are going to catch up with me. I was in a AAA stent case once where the cardiothoracic on the c-arm foot pedal blew the tube!! I told him to stop but he refused, made me keep turning it back on when it was cooling down!! Couldnt go in fluoro for a month after that my dose was so high!!! And I have done specials also. Still LOVE the job!! Hoping that we all get our BFP's ASAP!!!!! Baby blessings your way!!

Yeah, it’s really easy to get all caught up with the information and everyone’s stories. AF just arrived for me today…bleh!

This cycle we’re going to try pre-seed to see if that works for us. But other than trying new things, I just keep reminding myself it’s okay if it takes some time because that’s totally normal and in the grand scheme of things and compared to others…you and I are in the very beginning I think it’ll for sure happen and it’s really just a matter of time. Something that we’ve started (DH and I) recently to help keep me from being disappointed and to stay motivated is anytime AF arrives, we go out together and buy something small for when I do get that BFP. Helps to get us excited and pulls me out of moping around. For instance, this time, we’re going to go pick up a baby name book! Just tiny things to remind us it’ll happen, one way or another..it’ll happen. That might help you to get motivated and not too down when it doesn’t happen each month. I’ll keep you posted on the whole pre-seed thing and have a terrific, loooong weekend!!!!

That's so funny you mentioned about not being on the site that much b/c of obsessing about it! I was just telling my DH the same thing last night. That I get caught up reading and reading reading about how it's taking some of these women YEARS to conceive and it's terrifying me!!! I too need to keep it to a limit. Anyways, my inlaws are coming to visit this weekend to see the almighty sister-in-law since she's annouced she's pregnant. I don't want them or her ruining my three day weekend and I know that's going to happen!! Depressing!!  Writewhen you're on again!! It's nice having someone who can relate. Best of luck trying and keep me posted!! It's gonna happen!!
