It's not about how fast I get there, not about what's waiting on the other side. It's the climb!

Hello! I'm Andrea and my wonderful husband Andy and I have been married since December 2006. I work as a rad tech at a local hospital and he is a juvenile probation officer. We have two sweet fur daughters who are so spoiled. We have so much fun together, it's sickening. We have tried to get pregnant off and on for over a year until we found out that DHs sperm count is low! We stopped trying for about 6 months. We are now back and ready to get more aggressive with things!! We have never been more ready for a baby and I can't wait until our turn comes! *UPDATE* HSG shows open tubes! *UPDATE* I now have a thyroid condition. After seeing the endocrinologist, we will go from there. *UPDATE* Just finished our first round of Clomid...IUI is next!! God willing we figure this stuff out!! Hi honey, the Proxeed is not really a prescription...the RE told us we could get it off their website. He just gave us a few samples & literature on it. I didn't get to read it yet cause I was so upset yesterday, but I will look into it tonight & give you the website if you'd like...I'm not sure if it's just proxeed.com or something else.

This is my second cycle using the monitor and I love it so far! I'll probably try clomid again in the fall if no bfp by then. If I do have to take clomid again I'm gonna ask my dr about the monitor. Oh, and my first cycle using the monitor I also used opks and they both showed me o'ing at the same time. I'm gonna use opks with the monitor again this cycle just to double check it. From what I read you can use the monitor while taking clomid it may just give you more high fertility days.

I am glad that I could help.  I know when I was first diagnosed, it was really scary, but I was only 9 and had no thought of children. LOL

Thanks!  I am feeling great!  I just cannot wait to find out if we are having a boy or girl!  My husband already says boy, but I just dont know.  He was right with our son though!

Good luck with the thyroid stuff and ask anytime if you have questions. :o)

i think i'll give my dr a call next week and ask. i don't see how taking medicine would affect it any differently than it does an opk. i just had to wait a few days after my last clomid pill to start taking the opks.

yeah, it would be next cycle before i could start using the clear blue easy fertility monitor if i got one. i'm on cd9 and i read online that you have to start using it on CD1-5 so i've got a few weeks to think about it

Hi there

Regarding your question on my blog'Trying something new', I just wanted to say that Vitex is a herb it's also called chasteberry. It works with ur thyroid and helps with irregular periods(doesn't really help for pain).

I'm also taking these herbal drops called Feminon (made by Natura, it's locally produced, in South Africa, not sure if it's in other countries too, but I'm sure something similar should be available) which I picked up from a chemist who also sells natural/herbal remedies as well. It's kinda working, for the pains I get way before my period, so I'll see how it works when af comes.

All the best on your journey

*hugs*
