Hey!  Well, I didn't have a son...I had a daughter.  Apparently the u/s tech got it wrong.  I ended up being induce on 10/28 due to high bp.  She came 7:00 pm 10/29 at 7 lbs, 13.3 oz and 19.5 inches.  She is absolutely precious and we just love her so much.  Her name is Nadya Marie Vanlalengi Sailo.  yes, a long name. :)

Wow! I'll have to go and see the pics! Congratulations! We found out that it's a boy! Actually, we only found out because one medical team came from Korea and the radiologist had a portable u/s machine. :)   I'm due Oct 28th.  But who knows when he'll actually come. :)  How are you feeling?  How has it been adjusting to life as a mommy?

Hey there, long time no talk...we've had a crazy few months, ended up moving to a new house, and it took forever to get internet hooked up.  So I'm reading the post below me...you had the baby???  And where can I see the pics???  OOOH!! I'm so excited!

Great website, she is so gorgeous!!  I love the close up pics of her little face/hands/feet... I'm going to have to do some like that with Danica.  I'll send you a private message with my email address so you can add me on FB.  Congrats again, she is beautiful and you look great!  My hospital pictures are horrid, LOL.  I was sooooooo pale after surgery.  Feeling great these days though. :D

Well, hello!  Congrats on your baby girl!!!!  We're doing very well, and yes - Danica Kathleen is here!  In fact, we beat you to it. hehe.  She decided to make an early appearance.  My water broke one morning while I was laying around watching TV, so I rushed to the hospital and 4 hours later she was born via emergency c-section!  She arrived on September 12th at 4:13pm, weighing 7 lbs 6oz.  She's a lovely baby and we're so blessed to have her... She hardly ever cries and is absolutely adorable.  Do you have a Facebook at all?? I've got lots of pictures there if you wanted to check them out.  PM me if you want to be FB friends.  Otherwise I'll see what I can do about uploading some pics.  Can't wait to see yours!!!  Take care :)

Hey! Thanks for stopping by.  Yep, things have been going alright.. I am FINALLY off work, which is wonderful.  My Dad has been in the hospital (he was actually diagnosed with lukemia about 3 weeks ago)  He's doing well, but it's been a lot of stress and worry on the entire family.  My doctor decided to play it safe and put me on stress/medical leave... At the very least it's one less thing to worry about.  Other than that, I'm feeling great!  It's nice to have something to look forward to, and I can't believe she'll be here so very soon.  Have you got everything all set and ready??  Take care, keep in touch.

Hey! lol, So I guess I jumped the gun a little... our nursery is STILL "almost" finished, because Kevin hasn't done the 2nd coat of paint yet.  I've been bugging him about it for weeks!!  We're pretty much in the same place then, as far as the nursery goes huh?  Lilac sounds really nice!  I bought the crib bedding and got a wall colour to match.  The bedding is pink and a "celery" green colour with daisies and butterflies.  I've done the walls in the same light shade of green.  (Was going to go pink, but thought about the repercussions of that, should we end up having a boy 2 years down the road. lol!)  You'll enjoy your childbirth classes... We're half way through ours, and I'm so glad we decided to take them.  I've picked up a lot of little tidbits of info which I wouldn't have otherwise known.   Anyways, so glad that you're doing well!  Hopefully you're feeling good, etc.  Have a wonderful time at your showers, can't wait to hear all about them! :) Take care.

Hey, good to hear from you!  Glad to hear you're doing well.  We're good - all settled into the new place, the nursery is almost finished (with the exception of moving the furniture back in) and we have most of what we need.  Are you guys setting up a nursery?  I haven't registered for anything yet, because we've been really lucky and were given tons of things from my aunt and my cousin who both have very young kids.  In fact, we've got doubles of a lot of things!  Kevin's family bought us a gorgeous new crib - can't wait until it's delivered.  We do need a change table, and some small items still.  I've done a lot of shopping too, :P  Baby shower sounds like fun!!!  I don't think we're getting one until after the baby is born. :(  I understand that, but am totally anxious to have one! lol  Other than that, I'm feeling OK... Only got 4 hours of sleep last night.  Feeling some pelvic pain today too, and just really achy in my hips and joints, especially at night.  And those kicks are starting to hurt a little! lol  Anyways, take care - will talk to you soon.  :)

So how's the new place coming along? :)  Have you got a pretty nursery set up for your little girl yet, or is that still in the works?  I just went out this week and bought some of the things we need, and we're going to start painting on Monday.  Can't wait!  Hope you are well. xx
