I am a stay-at-home step mother to my husband's son from his first marriage. I love having a step son, and it has actually given me so much practice for a child of my own. I was diagnosed with pcos after ttc for over a year. We then went to a re who prescribed clomid and Metformin. I got pregnant naturally the second month but had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I've done one IUI with clomid, and one with injectables. Both cycles were unsuccessful, so we are taking a TTC break till next year.

My nipples are really sensitive to touch and seem to be "erect" all the time. Did you have this with the follistim?

How did the IUI go today? Let me know  how DH's count was and if they did another ultrasound today. I'm really hoping this is your month.

My temp shot up quite a bit this cycle for O. I don't have any symptoms except my nipples are sensitive. Some people have that about the time they O but I usually don't. I'm not getting my hopes up because it could just be from the follistim.Did it make you nipples sore? I have a really good feeling about this cycle for you. Your follies are really mature and you have the double IUI. Did they say how thick your lining was?

Frozen Embryo transfer.  I have 2 frozen blasts day 5 left from IVF #2.  It has lower success rates but I have them.  They are very expensive to freeze a year so I don't want to keep paying if they are not going  work.  Plus the dr doesn't want to put me through another egg retrivel if I don't have to. I have a 30-40% chance per embryo if they survive the Thaw.  I am praying for a sticky one.  If it doesn't work then when af arrives I start BCP for new cycle.  The FET takes 8 weeks so hopefully this weekend will be week 1.

Ok now I just stopped by to tell you my IUI is scheduled for tomorrow and to see where you are at in your cycle. then I looked at your page and saw like a ton of comments from me. I hope you and the other women don't think I  am stalking you!! Good grief ! I hope you had a great New Years! Love heather

I will give my injection tonight, the nurse said between 6-10pm. I hope it doesn't make me a hormonal pyscho woman because  I've finally stopped crying all the time about IF. I'm going to go through with the treatments but I'm going to start living for me not a baby I don't have. Julie, I signed up for a ceramics class!!! It is once a week  and I can't wait to start painting! The class will start about the time this cycle is over so it will be a great distraction if I get another BFN.

I hope you and DH had a great Christmas and I'm hoping it is your last one without a baby!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

If you get another BFN are you going to do a 2nd round of injectables?

IVF can get very expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it.  There are a bunch of states that do: http://www.fertilitylifelines.com/paying/insurance/statemandate.jsp

Goodluck!

Hey I just read your comment and I am so excited!!!!! You saw 2 lines!!! I have read on this website that digi tests aren't as sensitive as the others so don't lose hope. What brand did you test with that wasnt' digi? I read an article today where Consumer Reports did a study on HPT. FRER are the most accurate and consistant and will pick up the hcg hormone at the lowest level. Julie I hope this is our month!!!!!!!!!!

I read where you are on a TTC break. I took 2 months off before starting my new treatment and I feel better. Julie let me know how you are doing and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
