Hi, my name is Erica and my DH is Scott. My husband and I are TTC baby #1. Well DH and I have been trying to have a baby since March 2007 but we never protected ourselves since we've been together which is going on 10 years in May of 2008. We've been kinda wondering why we've never been pregnant. I went to the doctor about 5 years ago and got checked but was overwhelmed at the idea of becoming a mother at the time I just put off going back. I made a deal with myself and God. If I didn't get pregnant by 30 I would go back to the doctor. Well I will admit I think I've only had maybe 6 AFs since that doctor visit 5 years ago. I was told I had an enlarge petuitary gland thou it was not tumorous. Anyway I went back to see the doctor in March of this year a couple months before my 30th birthday and decided now as a good time to have a baby. My DH is 35. We have everything now that we need to be ready for a baby. We own our own house, have good jobs, are still very much in love, and financially stable. When I went to the doctor he decided I needed to have some tests done. I went in for blood test and pelvic Ultra Sound done. When I got the results my OBGYN told me I had a hormone embalance which I kind of figured anyway. He told me however that the rest of my body seemed just find for having a baby. He sent me to a hormone doctor to get the prolatin levels lowered (they were at 84, they need to be between 3-36) The next doctor put me on a hormone medication that bought my levels down and tested me some more with MRI's and more blood tests. Everything came out great, even my petuitary gland seemed to be normal now. Problem was, after being on the new hormone pill I wasn't getting AF. About a week ago my hormone doctor sent me back to my OBGYN and told me to tell him that I had not had AF yet. OBGYN gave me a pill to make me have AF and yesterday I still hadn't gotten AF after finishing the pills to start AF last week. I called my OBGYN to find out why he told me the pills may not of worked or that hopefully I was pregnant. Well I have cramping and spotting now finally. I am disappointed however. My OBGYN has given my husband and I until September to get pregnant or he will be sending us to an infertility doctor. All this has me down and I never shared this information before online. Perhaps you guys would have some suggestions to me. I've been monitoring this site since March of this year and it's very inspiring. I keep wanting to experience all the TWW and PO symptoms. I want so much to have DH's baby. Some encouragement or advice would be great. I'm up for anything :) Thanks. July 14, 2007 Update: I don't have PCOS. The doctor says my ovaries are fine. He's been watching them. Also said that the only thing I need to worry about is my prolatin levels that and my hubby who still needs to be tested but the OB told us to wait until September. The meds he has me on for my hormones is Cabergoline. For the forced AF which I am having right now that took 4 days to kick in is Medroxyprogesterone. I don't recommend a forced AF to anyone. They are worse than the natural! Update 8/18/10: back in the game again. Thinking I maybe pregnent now but haven't comfirmed, will give it 1-2 more weeks. OB says I still have high Prolatin levels however I'm having AF on my own regularly every month for some reason. OB said I may or may not O but if I saw my endo I could get meds to help my prolatin levels so it may fix the problem. OB also said I may have PCOS, Was told that they saw little dots on my ovaries. I don't know if that's something I should be concerned about or not. My symptoms now are sore BBs, constipation, fatigue, drinking alot mostly water, going potty alot, I could swear my veins in my left BB are more defined and they both look bigger, had some lower backaches, and gas along with other symptoms.

Hey girl. No I feel that RE #1 was terrible. If it was up to him I'd still be doing IVF for no reason. He told me my tubes were blocked. 2nd RE told me they weren't and we conceived 1st try after our surgery in august. I am so glad I got a second opinion and I tell everyone now to always get a 2nd opinion. We didn't do anything different besides I propped my legs up a couple times after BD'ing around ovulation time. Maybe the HSG was like getting a "wax" to my tubes. Who knows! See my recent blog about "how we got our BFP". Best wishes to you and thank you so much! I still can't beleive it!

Sorry about your BFN, hun! I'm glad you called the doc though and they are working on it. Side effects can be pretty rough. I cannot take clomid anymore as it makes me SUPER wackidoo crazy/depressed. I felt it was worth it for the chance, but DH says I am unbarable :P Nothing to report here. 37w 3d. I will be induced Monday and go for my last OB appt tomorrow. I have prett consistant contractions, but nothing making progress. I hope you get your answers soon! As always, praying for you!!! Keep me posted when the doc calls back!!

Hey!! No bleeding with me in early pg. But I was constipated, congested, and dizzy. The nausea was bad too!! I joke with people, if I hadn't tested when I did, I would have thought I was dying!!! LOL!! Hope you feel better soon!!!

Hey chickie!!Yes, I'm thrilled to have my belly!!! I stay very happy!!! (Which is a nice change to the Clomid blues I kept). I actually was so sick 1st tri that I lost 23 lbs! I stay pretty fatigued, but I would walk through fire for this baby and smile about it!!!! I cannot believe how close it is to "D" day! LOL!! Your BFP will come soon, I know it!! You are in my daily prayers!!! You deserve it so much!!! Hang in there!!!! I'm here if you ever need to talk!!

Hey girl. Thanx for reading my blog yesterday. I am on bedrest but dh is having to work 10-10pm five days a week and the doc could only see me in the afternoon so I had to break the rules and take myself and get my meds. I posted on your blog. I am not counting you out yet :)

I'm glad the chart helped!! I have been constipated this whole pregnancy (except once when I had McDonald's Breakfast-DISASTER!!). I also have had much more CM (usually very creamy, but some sticky) and mostly yellow. My very first clue was the heartburn. It was overwhelming! Good luck with the testing!!! Looking for you blog!!
