Hey Everyone!!! My name is Tiffany. I am 27 years old. I married my high school sweetheart Jason on October 20, 2007. We have been TTC since our wedding over 2 years ago. We live in the state of Ohio (GO BUCKEYES!) but I work as an Interior Designer in Pittsburgh, PA. After one year of trying on our own I decided to see a RE. I had all the tests done and the results all came back normal. We were put in the "unexplained infertility" category. I am currently taking clomid to give us that little push that we need!! **UPDATE AUGUST 2009 - took 3 rounds of clomid BFN **UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2009 - had laproscopic surgery to remove scar tissue from my tubes. Found out that one of my tubes is nonfunctional. What's next for us? **UPDATE OCTOBER 2009 - trying 2 more rounds of clomid 50 mg before moving on to ivf **UPDATE DEC 23, 2009- Had a second laparoscopy. removed my left fallopean tube. my right tube is still open and pretty healthy. Done with clomid and moving on to ivf **UPDATE FEB 2010 - Currently on cd 40 waiting for AF to show up. This cycle I DID take clomid days 5-9 even though I said I wasnt going to. BFN. Moving on to ivf in June or July. Going to try the next few months all natural. No more Fertility Drugs!!! **UPDATE JULY 2010- High FSH levels-no IVF this cycle **UPDATE AUGUST 2010- Started my IVF cycle. Follistim 850 iu / luveris 75 iu per day. Have had high fsh levels in the past so hopefully i will respond to the medicine! **August 14 2010- Transfered our one surviving 8 cell embryo **August 24 2010** POAS and got my first ever BFP!!! **August 27, 2010- BETA #1 233!!!!

12/01/2010 08:04:46 Saturday!!!! Only a few more days! So exciting! I agree with Melissa about being your own advocate and making them measure your cervical length! Nothing to worry about like she said, just err on the side of caution! As for feeling movement, my very first ones felt like gas bubbles. Like I had little popcorn kernels gently popping inside of me. Then one day I just felt this HUGE kick that stop he in mid check-out at Walmart LOL. It will be any day now for you and its just amazing!!! Good luck on Saturday! I'll be thinking about you!

11/30/2010 18:37:42 Don't start worrying about it. Just be aware. What you can do is ask them to measure it and give the results to your doctor. If they give you a hard time, try to call your dr ahead of time and see if they can do it. Hopefully they can check by 20 weeks. Just ask. . . and don't forget. You may as well ask :)

11/24/2010 07:08:47 I know! It goes so fast! They didn't do any 3D images at all. I had a level one at 16 weeks and a level 2 at 20. Do me a favor. . . make SURE they check your cervix length at your appointment. Do not take no for an anwers. IVF patients are more prone to preterm labor and you have to be your own advocate. They are checking mine at 16, 20 and 31 weeks. You want them to tell you how long your cervix is. It's an internal ultrasound, but I think you'll agree that it doesn't matter how many internals they do once you've already had IVF :)

11/05/2010 19:32:51 Hey girl! No, i do not get my FSH tested, but I have taken the FSH tests from first response and they've always been normal. (I don't know if it works the same way or not?) My main issue this time was that my lining sucked! They want it at an 8 at the minimum and mine was only 5.9. The main reason is b/c the clomid causes the lining to thin, but normally they can "re thicken" it with follistim....not in my case. So this time, they are having me only use follistim, but my dosage is increased. We'll see, here's to nothing! OH, and the endo so far, has not been on my ovaries! Just my tube at one point, my the outside of my uterus and my colon! lovely!

10/20/2010 06:15:49 i know i want to order more stuff. i talked to a photographer and she told me to bringi n a cupcake for the first birthday photo shoot and at the end they let her slop it all over her face. so i am thinking the tutu might get ruined so i might need another one!! hehe

10/13/2010 09:14:26 Hope you start feeling better soon! :) You're almost through with first trimester!! Wow! I think time will start flying before you know it! Have you started planning his/her room yet? How exciting for the both of you!! As for us, we're waiting until summer so we'll have enough money saved up, apply for some financing options, and have a month to go down to Boise and spend at least those crucial 2 weeks there--summer is a lot less stressful for us since we're both educators! You'll be having your baby and we'll be trying to conceive one!! :) Hope you're having a great day!!
