Hi! I'm Megan and I'm 28, my husband is 33 and we have been together for 6 years and married for 2.5. I'm a teacher assistant in a public elementary school. We have been trying for 2 years and just found out in October that we are going to need some help achieving our dream! We plan on doing IUI with gonal-F and ovidrel injections in January. I can't wait to get through the holidays and start making a baby!! I believe that everything happens for a reason and all of our dreams will come true! January 6-af started, I will go in tomorrow for bloodwork and an ultrasound. I start gonal F on Wednesday! So excited!! Praying that this is our month! I gave myself my first injection while DH watched and learned...it wasn't bad at all! Update: 1/20- after increasing my meds twice I have one follicle that is 20mm and my lining is 12. I did my trigger shot last night and we are having our first IUI today and the second tomorrow! Hopefully it will work! Update: We went for the first IUI and it was a great experience..his count was 20 million after the wash! Hopefully one of them will like my eggie! 1/21: I just had my second IUI and the nurse said everything looked great and that it went well! Praying it will work! UPDATE: 2/4 beta came back negative. I am so sad. We are now on a break because we are going on a cruise in april and need to save money. Update 2/26: as soon as AF comes we are going to be doing another IUI cycle..Thanks to Erin! love you! 2/27:af arrived early!(cd 22) I am ready to start IUI # 2! and it is going to work this time!! UPDATE: 3/12: We had back to back IUI's yesterday and today and now I am in the 2ww! I feel much more relaxed this time...hopefully that will help!3/23- poas BFN Beta:3/25:BFN so bummed! 8/11 IUI #3 BFN. IUI #4 started follistim 150 on day 4 because my progestrone was too high to start earlier. Praying for lots of follicles! UPDATE 8/24: ok..so this cycle was a train wreck, I messed up and ended up missing two bw and u/s appts. WOOPS! Thank God I didn't get cancelled! I responded to the meds really quick this time and had my iui on 8/23. If this one doesn't work we will do one more and call it quits until June. Now I am in the 2ww once again...praying for a bfp! Another BFN.
